Honestly I wouldn't be even giving them this one star if it wasn't forced upon me to select one. By far worst service ever, I could not believe that we were literally at a lock and key company and this man had no idea what the heck he was doing. let me just start from the beginning I had a friend and my mother take my car one day cuz I had to work and I'm working 65 hour work week 6 days a week right now so they did me a favor and took it up there and they ended up sending over one of their employees which is the owner's son in law to my house to work on all I needed was my keys cut I ordered two brand-new frogs and I will need it a spare key in my other phone was not working so that was the whole reason I needed this done I couldn't stand not having my fob anymore and haven't you know shuffle for my keys and my hands are full. so his son-in-law comes to do the work and my mom and my friend both said there was something off with the guy they thought he was kind of under the influencehe had a spot on his pants were it look like he had peed herself and my friend kept picking up on the scented beer so he was pretty sure he just built a beer in his lap before he got there and then once he started cutting Mikey he walked around to the other side of his van and just started downing a beer right there in front of them and then goes back and then all of a sudden realizes he's screwed up my key in this key I paid for they didnt have to supply it I spent my own money on it and now it's but my friend did speak to theowner the guys father-in-law and he said that he would be at his store at 9 a.m. and for him to be there and he would cut my other key and order one to replace the key that was messed up and at least I would have my one that he programmed the next day while I'm waiting for the other one to get in. so my friend did just that the next day and I could not believe when I got off of work and found out even the owner now destroyed my other key cut it completely wrong screwed it all up now I had to go a week without having those keys and trust that he was going to buy it and then do his job and replace it with a week later he did call me and they came in I went up there this man had no clue what he was doing then he started blaming the keys were not cutting right he was not cutting them right and then he proceeded to blame it on my ignition once and said that he can fix it would just take a few quick mins that's it! Well two-and-a-half hourslater it's finally when I got to leave but not with my car no see over the past two hours I have been watching him demolish my ignition and mess it up and try to blame everything else under the sun he tried to claim that my ignition was the one messed up all along and it wasn't him cutting the keys wrong it was just my ignition so now I was getting charged full price again which I was not supposed to after the events of last week especially considering I got a drunken baffon sent to my home to do the job. Now on top of full price I was told I was getting an extra $50 charge for the ignition work. They had no clue how to do there job but they fake it praying to God they pull it off and make it through and I'm sorry they should be ashamed of themselves claiming to be professionals and especially when they charge prices the pros do. But the pros know what they are doing

Great service! Needed a key replacement for my car after I lost the keys. I called them for a quote and they were below average price for replacements for that key type and said they could do it same day. They made it to my home an hour later and an hour after that I had my new key. Both the man I spoke with on the phone and the one that came to my home were friendly and understanding.

I work out of town, and trying to find someone who could make a duplicate car key was growing rather difficult. I decided to call my hometown locksmith, and he was able to have my key cut in less than ten minutes. Highly recommended!

Shows up when they want regardless of what time they say on the phone. Quoted one price but then said he didnt realize how much work was involved. For someone with 30 years experience you would think he would know how to figure a quote. I told them I would not use them again and he said who else is there? With a smirk on his face...

Called them out to rekey my husbands work truck, he did the ignition switch with no problem, he removed the lock on the back truck door an was going to come back the next morning to put the lock back on an have the new key but didn't show up so I called numerous times an he said he was cmg out each day I called. Well my husband lost several jobs cause he couldn't put his tools in the truck not having a way to lock the door. 3 1/2 months later he finally answered my call an I had to go meet him to get my lock back an he said he made the key for it. I paid the man the 1st time he came out all the money to do the locks, well he tried to charge me another 50.00 to give me the key I had already paid for in advance, needless to say I got my lock back to the back door of the truck but he refused me the key. This company is not very honest, don't complete the job I paid his son in law to do an he wouldn't even comply with the completion of the job. Rude an dishonest an not worth what I paid for. Will never use this company again an would never refer him to anyone ever

Best in town, fast, reliable, quality service at an affordable price. Wheather I need services at my home or at their office, one call is all it takes. You do have to make an appointment to meet at their shop, but what services dont require appointments! They also do emergency services, like all the times i have locked my keys in the car, including the duplicate i had them make! I won't use any other locksmith!!

This will be the third time I've used D&S Locksmith out of Guntersville, AL, Their work is reliable, fast, and tidy. It's not every business that cleans up their mess after drilling and tracking in and out of the house. D&S is also reasonably priced. I did not feel as if I had been gouged for a service I needed. This will be the second time D&S has re-keyed all the locks on my doors that lead outside (10 total - that includes deadbolts and knobs). I highly recommend this business.
