From the moment I called Donny , the experience was amazing . He gathered all my information, had his brother Mark call me immediately to set up an appointment for the same day ., you could hear the pride they both have in running a family business for almost 50 years . Mark not only viewed my lock situation ahead of time by requesting pictures , he directed me to products I could pick up myself to save money .. he could have pushed their products and did not . He repaired all the locks ,made keys that all worked together on site , and thru in a battery check on a electronic model free. That was nice The professionalism was truly appreciated .I cannot express my gratitude This family truly loves what they do, treats their customers right & gets the job done efficiently Thanks guys !!!

With all sincerity, getting my keys out of our locked van turned out to be one of the most inspirational personal experiences in recent memory. Donny is an unmitigated genius with a light of abiding goodness that glows from within him. I will never call another locksmith without calling Donny the Lock Doctor first. This former Vietnam Veteran crawled back from that experience and now blesses the lives of those who call him. I realize that this review smacks of hyperbole, but Im actually under-doing it in terms of praise. I hope to run across him again.

Nothing like being a tourist and locking yourself out of a car that's sealed like a drum. Lock Doc had it opened in minutes. Professional. Very personable. Empathetic. I'd consider locking my keys one more time in my car just to visit with the guy.

Donnie was able to copy a key that both Sedona Safe and Key and Ace Hardware told me they couldn't do. He has over 4 decades of experience as a locksmith and I don't think there is a key he can't make. He is also a great guy and fun to talk to. You won't regret using him for any lock project.A quick update - Donnie just made a copy of a key for me for a lock I was unable to purchase a blank for. This was for a motorcycle top box made in the Netherlands. He was able to find a key blank for a RV side box that would work and made the copy. Thank you again Donnie, you are the best!

Every now and again when you are working with a specialty, like locksmithing/safe repair, you come across a company that, a man who, is so knowledgeable, so incredibly assuring, it is beyond belief. So it is with The Lock Doc, so it is with Donnie. My situation was dire; my Champion Gun/Important Document safe, would not open; i was desperate. When i got on the phone with Donnie, he assured me everything was going to be OK, describing how the safe worked, how the problem i was having was common and how we would 'fix' the problem. Next, is the most unbelievable thing; Donnie, over the phone, confidently 'walked me thought' the process of opening my safe. I am not electro/mechanically proficient, but Donnie's, again, over the phone instructions, were so simple to follow, and 'voila' the safe opened. We are going to 'go for' a permanent 'fix' for this 'common problem' with the electro/mechanics (going away from the electro/mechanics to manual) being the common problem. When i was living in phoenix, i had the same problem with the safe and the 'safe guys' came out and just installed a 'new' device; this happened twice (and now the third time). Donnie/The Lock Doc is the first to offer a permanent solution; simple and amazing at the same time. And, what did Donnie charge me, so far, for his expertise? Nothing $0. I will pay, of course, for the permanent solution, but this is just great knowledge of how to keep a customer happy.AND, Donnie is a war hero, a veteran, and just the most enjoyable human being on the planet with whom to be in discussions . . .

I had a TSA luggage lock that wouldn't work after an overseas flight. I believe it was damaged by Security, when opening my bag. Anyway I spoke with Donnie (Lock Doctor) on the phone about a possible repair. He was so nice & informative about my little issue. In the end, I realized it made more sense to order a new lock (or 2) on Amazon for less cost than the repair.
