The Affordable Locksmith people no showed/no callback and blocked my calls throughout the whole morning and afternoon. Called Nichols Lock&Safe. The lady on the phone was really nice and the guy arrived early, did it in 2 tries and in under a minute. He even helped me open my trunk to get the key and fixed my doors since they were a little bent. A lot better price than the other locksmith and definitely worth more than 5 stars.

Adam was very helpful. Picked up the phone right away, said he might take awhile but was here in less than 10 minutes. Helped us get to our keys in about 10 minutes or so. He was very cheerful & had a great attitude, making us less worried about our situation. Price was very reasonable. We called several locksmiths before calling Nichols & every single one said either they wouldnt be able to help us until morning or just simply didnt want to. Highly recommend this business. Very happy with the service.

Call to have them make a key for my car they came out 30 to 40 minutes later working on the car and said they could not do it and would have to take it to the dealer so I tried calling another locksmith and they made a key for it in only 15 minutes if you need a good automotive locksmith car Affordable Locksmith they will have you back on the road in no-time

I've delt with the same woman and her staff or co-workers at Nichols going back to sometime in 2008, She has been fair and even listens to my fishing stories, that generally put most women to sleep. The guys there have gone more then out of the way on unbearable hot days to do professional work with a cheerful attitude on my home, rental home and cars... I loose keys way more then I should so now I keep an extra In my wallet that gets my spares to other locks....a tip from them that has saved me bucks and time.I'm embarrassed to say I'm not sure of her name. , I think Cam or Kim.I highly recommend this business. For all phases of their work.Jim Mallett. I messed up the first review.... It says felt instead of felt, ha ha. This is a lock, safe and key company. Not a red light business.I recommend.James J. After dealing with 'Affordable Locksmiths', I decided to bypass the 'poor' reviews and give Nichols Lock & Safe a call. They quoted me a reasonable price and had an appointment the next day. Adam their technician called me in the morning indicating that my complex situation was communicated directly to him. He hung up and did some research and called me back in 20 min with a solution. So after getting the info I needed from the dealer, he showed up to my vehicle within an hour. Adam was very cordial and personable. He was sweet with my son and told me about his kids. He had the job done in less than 20min. I've been in customer service for 10 years and it's customer service from people like Adam that make busineses shine. Thanks Nichols!

Recieved very rude unprofessional service and what I percieved to be discrimination. Came in and the workers started to 'joke' around in bad Spanish as they dont actually speak the language. And then I asked a few questions and recieved very rude short answers that were not helpful at all. Would not recommend.

We needed a new key fob, our car would not recognize the key, they ordered the key and asked me if I had AAA, if so I could save some money if AAA brought the car to them, so that is what we did, but AAA was not going to get to Nichols before they closed, so that the car could be put in their secured yard, I called and explained to Karen and she was very nice to offer to stay later till we got the car there. Thank you Nichols for your great and friendly service .

I had a horrible experience with this company.. When I called the woman I spoke to was very polite and told me they could help with my problem. The door on my camper had locked somehow and we couldn't open the door. These two Young people came out. They looked at the lock and then called their employer. Rather than just tell me they didn't know how to fix it, they lied to me and said they could get the door open. They screwed around with the lock calling their employer every few minutes. Evidently their employer was telling them to figure it out. One young man came up and said the lock was broken, and asked if he could just remover the lock. I said yes, because we had a second lock on the door that did work. The two guys hammered at the lock and kicked the door. Finally, when it was very apparent they had no clue what they were doing I told them to just stop and leave. They demanded payment of $140. I paid them just to get them to leave and I wish I hadn't. When they left I went to inspect their 'work'. They not only damaged the door around the lock, they punched a hole in the door and broke the light. I will NEVER USE or RECOMMEND this company to anyone. BEWARE! I am now thinking about taking them to court..

After setting up an appointment 2 weeks in advance, for a home visit, I received a call that the serviceman could not make it, he would be on vacation. I called and resheduled for another appointment, one week later, and at the day and time of the appointment, received another phone call that he could not come due to an emergency. There was no one else that they could send. At that point, it was time to find a new company.

Ignorance is not only ineffective, but very low-class - and there's plenty of ignorance and class-less-ness at THIS PLACE ! The place employs folks who are - there's no other way to put it - STUPID - with a capital S !Most recent example:The gal behind the counter couldn't FAX a document to the CORRECT number provided - ADMIT she made a mistake - not just ONCE, but did it TWICE ! Instead, she lost her patience, refused to check her work, couldn't ADMIT her own mistakes, or try again - she just got mad ! (She was very obviously mad AT HERSELF - and her incompetence. It was actually pretty hilarious !) Will NEVER EVER go there again!
