I had to get my locks changed after my house was broken into. I called this company after my neighbor recommended them. I called this morning & scheduled an appointment to have my locks changed. They were able to fit me in today. The gentleman that came was very helpful & knew exactly what he was doing. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

Looked up locksmith near me on Google and I first called companies that were definitely not local. Shannon at Academy Locksmith was the only company that gave me a real quote and answered all my questions about my car key. They got to my house pretty quick in a mobile locksmith truck. 45 minutes later I had new key remote. Forgot the name of the locksmith but he is also part of the reason why I'm giving a good review.

I was right in the middle of a staging for a Realtor showing a property and locked my keys in the cab; the keys for the property were on my key chain too! Had an hour and a half before the client and Realtor showed and still had one more room to clean and stage. Looked up 'local locksmith' and Academy Locksmith came up 6 miles from the property so I called and Fernando had a Locksmith there in 30 min! The locksmith who showed was able to get me in the truck in what seemed like a minute and not only was he professional, he was informative and explained what he would be doing before he did it. I would highly recommend Academy Locksmith!

It was alright. The representative I spoke to book an appointment asked me same questions at least couple times - She asked me what my address was about two times; I had to tell her what time they needed to be there about three times which made me a bit nervous. At the end, the locksmith was there. Then I received an invoice with unexpected charges. The 2nd representative I have email exchanges insisted that they went over all the charges, but I was not informed that there have a service fee and trip charge. They had to work on my dial pad lock to get into the house. He said there is a charge since they worked on it although I did not authorize it. The dial pad was never used - my tenants at that place did not even had a code. But at the end, they 'did' work on it, so I guess there will be a charge. Then he explained they charge $29 per key, and my invoice said $29 *2 $60. Not to be too crazy here, but isn't $29*2 $58? It's only couple dollars different, so I guess they did not find it significant. But I would want the invoice for my clients to be accurate regardless of the amount. Answering the client's question with another question, 'We had to open it to enter the house. Is that not correct?' showed me how they handle questions or concerns. Overall, they were there, door is open, keys are changed, so I wouldn't mind paying for what I am billed. But I wouldn't recommend or go back to use their service again.

Very impressive problem solving of two of my sticky door locks.Replaced a 'short' pin in our front door and solved an 'interference' problem' with out bathroom door lock when he could have just swapped out the locks for a quick (and expensive) fix but instead he said, 'This is a good American lock so we will just fix what's needed.' Fernando researched persistently and eventually was able to locate an unusual sliding door lockset which Cody was then able to find a way to make it work. Then, Cody stuck with a difficult re-keying task until it was PERFECT. Great service and good people!

Locked myself out of my 2014 Prius and was running late to work; keys were right there on the driver seat, next to my cell phone!! I borrowed my neighbors phone and googled locksmith near Anaheim and Academy Locksmith came up 1st so I called them up and the woman that answered the phone, Karen, was so nice and reassuring me she would have a locksmith out ASAP. Not only was the price really what Karen quoted over the phone, the technician was there in less than 30 minutes, was super professional and got into my car quick! Thank you Academy Locksmith!!!

Wow! I highly recommend Academy Locksmith! The service was fantastic! Fernando was awesome with making me feel like everything will be ok after losing my key for my 2012 Niss/Altima which is a push start ignition. The rate he gave me to get my key was very reasonable and the locksmith named Semco was quick to arrive to my vehicle and his service was fantastic! I called early in the morning as soon as they open let them know that I needed a lock fixed as soon as possible I let them know that I just got off of work because I work nights and I needed somebody early in the morning so I can go to sleep they had somebody there and my home in 30 minutes the guy was polite nice easy to talk to very friendly fast and efficient I haven't had good customer service like that in a long time Academy locksmith will be the only company on use from now on when it comes the locks thanks a million you guys you save my day and the associate that you sent over his name was Cody he was so nice so polite real good young man hopefully next time he'll be my service man again you give you guys get a 5 on the Richter scale have a good day and thanks again yours truly Yette Blackshear

Price was right on and did not change when they arrived and tech was quick efficient and had me on my way. These guys are quick and responsive. They know what they're talking about and $15 dollars cheaper than the first company we called. It's never fun getting locked out and it's an expensive stupid mistake to make, but Academy is the way to go!

Yes they are definitely a rip-off. They sent us to do a job that was really a warranty job for their customer and then they did not pay us. They told us that the warranty was not good. So we stood behind our work, and they cheated both us and the customer. Ask about the warranty before you agree to pay. And if you are a locksmith, don't expect to be paid fairly.

I called and they said they are sending someone over. I called again 1 hour later and they asked me to wait 30 more minutes. They never showed up. I waited over 2 and half hours. I had to call another locksmith that arrived in less then 20 minutes.

I called on the 27th they said they were sending someone out within the next 30 minutes no on showed a few hours later I got a call asking to send pictures of my lock I did that then it took a few more hours till I got a response to the pictures I sent. I was call a few days after this saying they were coming out between the hours of 10 to 12. No one showed. So I called them around 2 to see what was going on I talked to a manager and was told sorry it was a misunderstanding on their part and the door lock would be here Monday well here we are Monday at 4:00 pm and I have yet to even get a call. I would not recommend these people at all.
