These guys saved my whole camping trip when I locked my keys in my truck with a cab full of perishable groceries Id just spent $400 on! I called AAA to put in a request for roadside assistance & followed up with their business directly to share my situation. On a 5 day camping trip up here in Big Bear, my son accidentally locked our keys in our fifth wheel. I immediately searched for a locksmith and phoned A-Kenns Bear Valley Lock and Key. The gentleman I spoke to put me at ease and told me that he was on his way. Our camping friends noticed a open window and we shoved one of the ladies through the window. I immediately called A-Kenns Lock and notified them that I wouldnt need them after all. They were extremely understanding in my cancelling the locksmith even though he was on the road. Excellent service!! We recently bought an old cabin with old door locks that barely worked and needed repairs. He gave a rough quote over the phone about how much the repairs would cost. He came to do the work on time!! He did a great job, repaired the old locks and got them working perfectly. He rekeyed all the locks and made me many extra keys. I love this company. Never have I had such better service in the 8 years or so I have dealt either them. Great staff and quick service. I understand they get backed up a little but when they show up its fast and friendly! I highly recommend using them!

Worst customer service ever, I needed all the locks changed on my house and the kid insisted i tell him how many lock are on each door. I explained to him there might be a single lock or there might be a dead bolt on the top, he said well which is it. I explained to him i dont know so just charge me for both. He kept saying well i need to know how many locks is on each door. I said just charge me for 2 each door just in case. The kid couldnt figure it out he demanded to know how many. I tried over and over again to tell him to just charge me for 2 locks each door. The kid couldnt understand i didnt care how much it cost and to just quote me the highest price per door he could. He ended up using profanity and telling me to never call them again.
