Great people, excellent service, tremendous value. I made the mistake of going to the local Yamaha dealer to get a new key for my motorcycle. Wasted $20 just for a blank that wouldn't even fit the bike.One quick visit to Michael. He had the proper key blank. Checked by inserting it in the motorcycle just to make certain. Then two minutes later I had a brand new key! Less than 1/2 the price of the dealer with no hassle.I won't go anywhere else for my keys.

I was at Home Depot across the street, trying to re-key my locks and was told by the locksmith that they don't offer that service.Immediately after, I called Kwikeys, spoke to William and was quoted a very competitive price. He had three locks and three keys ready in less than 15 minutes. Works great!This is a family owned and operated business in Lake Forest. Kwikeys is off of El Toro and Raymond, located next to Asia Buffet in the Citibank shopping center. They have a small booth, but don't let this fool you. There's also a quick drive-thru service for quick key copies and most of their operations can be done from their mobile workshop. They also do house calls!

When I need a key I come here without question. Call ahead of time to see if they are available, communicate your needs clearly. They have never turned me away, though you may have to wait. Patience. Dont forget to remember to bring the lock you are trying to fit if possible. (Not necessary but its not a bad idea,right?)

They were at the house exactly as promised and called to let me know they were waiting. They performed perfectly and I appreciate Michael and William so much -- in what was a difficult situation. Until I really needed to get a specialty key made I didnt know how important it was to find the right locksmith. Michael went above and beyond to help make my key for my 2016 Kia forte. I had checked with numerous other locksmiths in the area and even away from the area some of them couldnt help me others wanted a lot more for the service they were going to provide. Michael was quick on the phone to answer my questions call me a very reasonable price so I came to see him. After visiting with him he informed me that his price he quoted was actually higher than the price he was going to charge me! Can you believe that, he actually charge me less than what he told me he was going to charge me due to the fact that Mikey was not going to be as complicated. I can tell you that there is a lack of moral integrity in the business world today, but this is one business and an owner that uses integrity in everything he does. I will tell all my friends and family to make sure they get their keys made at quick keys. Thank you again Michael for your great service and honesty.

I lost a Hide-a-Key or it was stolen, so I needed a person I could trust to replace all of the locks and keys. A Locksmith has to be honest and trustworthy so I asked 3 different friends and neighbors who they had used. William was recommended by another Locksmith who was busy that day. That is like a double stamp of approval! I called and he was at my door in less than 30 minutes, did all the work promptly and gave me his card without me having to ask for it. That and his reviews eased my issues and his price was very fair.You can't put a price on trust and excellent workmanship by a family, local business. You are wasting your time and money by going to a big box store to get a key cut. I have tried this more than once only to get the keys home and realize the key was cut incorrectly. If you want your keys cut correctly the first time take it here. This father and son team specialize in this and they do it right. They are extremely knowledgeable and friendly and the prices are affordable. I can recommend this place any higher.

Very nice gentleman helped me with pricing to copy a key to a blank I had in my possession. He told me to come down and he would copy it right away. He made sure it fit my car and I was off. I asked if he could duplicate a key for a 2012 Honda Accord. He said yes and proceeded to cut the key for $32. After cutting it, he tried it in the ignition and pronounced it would turn O.K. He THEN told me the key would not start the car until it had been programmed. That would be another $80!! I asked him why he had not disclosed the programming charges before he cut the key. He replied that I only asked if he could duplicate the key. A crook, stay away!!!!

Michael Kirdbacheh helped us. What a terrific man, the day after Christmas and he had been busy all day and still drove down to our house after hours and went above and beyond with his service. Got us a new set of keys and a backup to open the car just incase we get locked out. Tested the car battery, hooked up some loose pieces in the engine bay and was very timely. Incredibly polite and explained every single step, tried to save us money on the way and gave a breakdown of the cost of the entire bill. For all the work this man did and how much he went out of his way to help us it was money well spent. There is no need for us to go anywhere else, Michael and Kwik-Key treated us like family.

Will wasted an hr of my time on a useless key he charged me $100 for. He refused to give me a discounted price for it, too. A key a professional in the business for 21 years should've known not to make in the first place: I had another automobile locksmith look at my car immediately after him and he knew right away that without the key code and a key with a chip in it, my car wasn't going to start. He never turned the ignition with the key Will made. I was told that it's useless and if I tried to start the car with it it would damage my engine. I told Will before he came over that my car needed a key code, he said he would take care of it. Not only did he not take care of it he adamantly denied my ever telling him that the job consisted of him needing a key code, or ignition code, or computer code (whatever, I used all three terms just to be safe even though it can only mean one thing one way or the other). So, there you go, Iearn from my mistake, if your car key needs a key code try another locksmith who has key code contacts and can look it up there on the spot. Just try another locksmith, someone more reasonable.
