As a business owner I like to support small business in our city. I drive pass this place for many years and never once went in, but today I decided to stop by because I needed some locks that has the same key which would make my job easy.I had to pleasure to meet the owner and he was awesome.....told me he can make the key locks for me and made me feel comfortable. In fact, did you guys know he has key locks for cars? He can change the batteries in the remotes...that is great, it is so hard to find those batteries. Handled a challenging job making an old Mercedes key given the handle and lock cylinder I gave them. Many locksmiths these days might not even touch such a job but they did it, turned it around in a few days at a very reasonable price. I will always use these guys for my locksmithing needs.

I used to have 2 keys to get into my house for the past 25 years. Today I decided to give Lomita lock and key a visit to ask them how much they would charge me to re key my 6 locks so I only need 1 key to open my house.I was quickly greeted by Mo who was super professional and took the time to understand what I needed done and provided me a quote (very reasonable prices!) and said he could have a technician come out tonight if I wanted it done today. (Mind you this was 2pm)I did a quick yelp review and decided to proceed and was told Ray would be coming between 7-8 (after I got off work) which was very accommodating for me and for that I am grateful.Around 7:30 Ray called and said hes running 20 minutes late and that he was on his way (still within the quoted 7-8pm time frame) Ray shows up at 7:50 ready to work. He greeted me and took the time to tell me what he needed access to and how long he needed. He was very personable and I felt confident I made the right decision on choosing them to service my locks.My 6 locks and spare keys were made and completed within 45 on the dot!I am very happy and HIGHLY recommend them!

This was the third place I went to to try and get my car key cut and programmed. I had provided my own key fob and they put up with one of them being difficult to program. They also had some other troubles but we're able to solve them with some of my patience. They charged a very reasonable price compared to the others and I wouldnt hesitate to go back.

Was having trouble with my spare key so saw shop and stopped in to see if I could get help with it. They quickly gave me the help I needed. After they opened the key I offered to by a battery even though I had one. They said it was ok and replaced battery, Offered to pay for assistance they said it was on them. Any business I have in future will go there and will send friends there. Thanks Lomita Lock & Key

My grandparents misplaced their house keys, were locked out of their house and needed the locks opened and rekeyed. I initially called a different company but he was unable to unlock the doors.I called Lomita Lock and Key and within 10 minutes the doors were opened. 20 minutes later new keys were made. Amazing! Fast, professional and experienced. I highly recommend Lomita Lock and Key!
