Wide variety of things here, good selection. In general the staff are helpful, but sometimes it can be a little hard to find someone. Which is weird. You'll go from seeing store staff all over to suddenly seeing none. But overall very helpful

Overall a nice store. The negatives are: Frequently sold out of items, items are not individually marked with prices and frequently are misplaced in bins and on hooks. Make sure to double check prices at checkout. Very old, faded prices are on shelf tags which are hard to read and may require getting down on your knees to read. This store is all we have of this type in the area. Beats driving to Fresno

Nice shopping experience today! The employees were very helpful (I got help from 4) A majority of the time I have good shopping experiences at this Oakhurst location. I live in the mountain community and shop here. I also had my bday cupon which was a nice little gift, thank you!

If your immune system is compromised, I suggest you avoid this place like the plague. Today (12 May 2020) I saw only one clerk (out of about 10 that I saw in the store, wearing a mask for Covid. Despite the state-required stay 6 away, I saw one male clerk go up and hug the 3 people in line ahead of me, none of whom wore masks. No wipes for the carts, no hand cleaners for after youve used the credit card reader, which requires touching. A month ago they were better- the clerks at least wore masks, but only over their mouths.

I made a purchase at True Value in Oakhurst yesterday for $22.93. Twice it rejected my card, the third time it took. Today I looked at my bank statement. They took it out of my account three times. I went back in and showed them my statement. They gave me a phone # for their business office and told me to call back in a week. Say what? They want payment for their goods at the time of transaction but when they screw up, you have to wait for your money. Here's a recommendation. DON'T SHOP AT TRUE VALUE.

The cashier is what ruined it for my mom and me. He was chewing gum like a cow and had no customer service skills. I ask about renting equipment and he couldn't help. It is very disappointed in the kid's perspective of customer service. Maybe if they put in self kiosk I wouldn't have to deal with idiot.

Always friendly and helpful. 4 stars because they are a little over priced, but still cheaper and less time intensive than a trip to Fresno 50 miles away. They usually have what we need for quick home repairs, gardening, and pest control. They also have machine rentals and small engine repairs. We have used both with no problems.

I usually would give True Value 5 stars. Today I bought soil, the clerk said just drive to the end of side and show them your receipt. I drove around and waited in my car because I have a disability. A girl walked by, not with any name tag... And said are you picking up something? Yes..... I told her what it was.... She coldly told me it was at the front corner, just go there. So I turned around and went to the corner and waited. No one around. I struggled with 2 heavy bags and as I was ready to close the trunk, a young man walked up, said nothing, held his hand up for my receipt, marked it, mumbled thanks and walked over to the same girl and started talking. Never once considered maybe I had needed help. I should have said something, but he was obviously too interested in talking. Disappointed in the lack of customer service.
