I had a great experience with these folks. I lost the key to my safe and the gentleman there was able to break into it in no time.They have a great policy about making sure the safe and it's contents were mine. I keep all my important paperwork in there so it was easy to prove ownership of the safe. This policy is a good one because if someone steals a safe and brings it here, Redwood Lock would ensure the rightful owner of the contents gets them back.Thanks guys!

We called like 5 places they were all like $100 just to remake our 2004 chevy suburban key, we come here and it was $4 and then we were going to have to come back when we had some cash on us but this nice guy that was in there offered to pay so definitely coming back here when we need a locksmith!!!!

A late Thursday afternoon YIKES!! After 2-hour drive from home, and a quick break, my 2013 Nissan Altima would not start. Electronic ignition messages on dashboard confusing, and my great mechanics at Bill & Jays Auto Repair in Petaluma had me call Dave, who via FaceTime, watched my dashboard and my moves. He said problem likely dead car battery (it was, per AAA)), or faulty alternator. Next day, I went to see Dave, bought a new battery for electronic key, then Dave asked me: 'Did you get your alternator checked?' 'Er, ah, no', I replied. He handed me a device to check it myself, and alternator was fine! Master of the 3 Cs: Clear, Crisp and Concise! Dave, you're the BEST!!

I just left Redwood Lock and Key and had to immediately leave a review. I was so impressed with the level of service and price and felt I was treated as a valuable customer. I needed a remote programmed and bought two online. They charge $35 to program as one or more remotes ( for the same vehicle). Way less than the dealer charges. They were friendly, efficient and helpful (ran into a problem with one of the remotes-not their doing) and while I was there people came in with a variety of needs, all of which the staff showed expertise in. I highly recommend them.

I was having a horrible day and got locked out of my apartment. I was told it would be an hour wait to get in. Jason was awesome he called me immediately and rushed over. Very friendly and professional man. He was able to get me safely back in my home. He totally calmed me down as I was shooken up. Amazing service. My son & his wife were traveling. I thought I had the keys to the house to take care of their kitties. However, I did not have the right keys. With authorization from my daughter-in-law, Redwood staff met me at their house, let me in to give the kitties food & water, and then locked the home back up. They were on time, very efficient, and I would use them again in a heart beat!

We went here to get a replacement key for our car. The owners were extremely friendly and so helpful! They set up a new key for us and it took maybe 20 minutes if that. They are very reasonable on price as well! The dealership quoted us at over $600 for one key and we paid less than $150 for a key from them! A year later and our key is working great! Also loved their two beautiful pups that were in the store! Thanks redwood lock! Highly recommend!

Called and explained what was going on and Jason and Dave (I believe those are their names) told me what the issue could be and explained that it was a easy fix. Thanks to their instructions, I solved the issue on my own and told me if I needed anymore help they would try their best to resolve it. Saved me a lot of money! So friendly and professional!! We lost our truck key/fob in the ocean while on our roadtrip. We tried calling multiple local locksmiths and they either didn't answer, turned us down since it was a Sunday night after 6pm, or said they couldn't do our particular type of truck. We were referred to Redwood by the AAA guy who unlocked our truck. Jason at Redwood Lock & Key was so knowledgeable and courteous over the phone. He was out to us at the beach in less then an hour and had new keys cut and new fobs programmed in record time. He saved our family roadtrip!! I would highly recommend Jason and this company.

SCAM ARTISTS! I had 2 options. A REMOTE KEY for 380 or a REGULAR KEY for 280. I told hem I wanted the REGULAR KEY. I ubered to my locked car and the technician says ok looks like its going to be 400 dollars. Annoyed I told them I wanted the regular key and we already had this discussion. Well I dont know what you want me to do In my head I said I DONT KNOW CALL YOUR BOSS AND SEE IF IM TELLING THE TRUTH??? So I called his boss and he said sorry about that but you know your getting a great deal blah blah blah I informed him that I still wanted the key I originally asked for. He talked to his technician for at least 5 minutes, and then the unspeakable happened. The tech said hed give me the key they already made for 280, after I agreed I handed him 13 dollars cash and then handed him a debit card. He said what am I supposed to do with this? I replied pay with 13 cash and then use the rest on my debit. He asked AGAIN Wait.....what do you want me to do? I muttered Ridiculous the tech threw my card and cash at me, got in his car, and drove off. These SCAM ARTISTS LEFT ME STRANDED IN PETALUMA after they falsely advertised their prices over the phone and then tried to extort money out of me when i called them out for their shady business ethics. They are Incompetent losers that treat you like garbage.

I lost my car keys the 2nd day of moving into my new place...Redwood Lock came out the same day and made my new keys..Jason Scott was exceptional, very professional, and knows his stuff!! He went above and beyond the call of duty, explained everything as he went along and gave me very helpful information so that this won't happen again. Don't bother calling anyone else, these guys are the real deal. Excellent in every way!! I can't recommend them highly enough!!

They were so friendly, and saved me about two hundred dollars!! I had to get a new key made for my Chevy traverse and the dealership told me once I got my key made by them Id have to get my car towed to the dealership and then theyd reprogram my new key for about $160+. They told me I could reprogram it myself, Im so grateful it had been a stressful couple of days and this made my day! Thank you!

These guys are the ultimate professionals. I had not thought much about locksmiths until I had a problem with my steering column on my Toyota. I thought I would have to do some very expensive repairs. I took the car in to Redwood and they diagnosed the issue, got me going again quickly, saved me a ton of money, and made me laugh to boot! I would give these guys 10 stars if it was an option. So nice in this day and age to encounter real masters of a craft.

They will come to you during later hours (I'm always working). I was a pain and didn't mention that the trunk and driver locks are different, even though he asked. He was very nice and came back to finish it the next day (because it was getting dark, and I didn't tell him all the issues). My key was so old, when I came in to Redwood Lock, they told me that they wanted to add my key to their 'wall of shame' for their worst keys. It was bad. But they made me a new key that works perfectly in under 1/2 an hour and for waaaay less than I was expecting. Great service and super friendly. Several people referred me to them and I am happy they did. They also have one of the CUTEST dogs that hangs out at the shop. I'd come back just for him!!
