First off I have nothing to do with this company ..I do not have any family or friends that work there ..As a matter of fact I never even knew about this place until the day I had the keys made ..I need to say this as there are many bogus reviews out there ..Second, I went to Home Depot which is a great store but their handy dandy computer controlled scanner couldnt make me a key ..So where else could I go ?. The dealer which I wont name charged me over $35 bucks and their copy didnt even look like my old key and didnt work ..Off to the internet .. I found Economy Lock and Key ..So I went there and they made me 2 copies ..The man asked me to try them to see if they would work and I started to get worried considering my past experience at the previous two places ..I asked if he thought there would be a problem and he said there shouldnt be ..We both went out and again he asked me if there was any sticking and if the keys worked ..I asked about the sticking and he replied he compensated for the key wear on my original ignition key ..The keys both worked perfectly and I had two new ignition keys without any wear !.I had no idea that you could compensate for key wear ..All my needs will go through Economy Lock and Key from now on !.Very impressed with the way they work and at an extremely reasonable price !.

My 87 year old neighbor locked herself out of her house this morning, still in her robe. I called several locksmiths and finally reached ECONOMY LOCK AND KEY. the technician, Garrett Motherwell, came out and got her door opened as quick as a flash!!! What a nice, mannerly young man. I would highly recommend that if you need your door opened, call ECONOMY LOCK AND KEY. I guarantee you won't find anyone better and more efficient. These guys are a bunch of clowns. They failed to show up and wouldn't give me a discount for it. Just immature and disrespectful. They knew my situation and gave me the last appointment of the day. Don't get me started! Are they economic? NO.. They wanted a $100 an hour. I don't think so... THANKS DONNIE

Confusing parking, key cost slightly high, but worked when returned home so no 2nd trip to have key re-ground like some hardware stores.
