They keyed a lock for me and made a few copies for my Jeep. No problems an very fast. They were super respectful! My Jeep puked fluid in their parking lot so they gave me paper towels and let me charge my phone while I waited for a tow truck. Will definitely be back... if my Jeep still runs!

Given a quote of $59 to remove an old door handle from my door which took 5 minutes. Got a bill for a labor charge in addition to the $59 quoted. Followed up with Buffalo Security and was told the $59 is the service charge to come out to my place. My response to Jack's response:I initiated the phone call to get the bill corrected to what I was quoted for in order to submit payment. I was told that it would be $59 for the labor to remove an old door handle, which took only 5 minutes. I explained the scope of this job on the phone and stated that I would not need help with installing the replacement. I was not told there would be a $59 charge to just drive out to my residence, which is located in central Boulder. As I was not locked out of my house or car, I did not request immediate service and the service was performed a number of days out. I of course believe people should be paid for their work and would be more than happy to submit payment promptly if I was billed for what I was quoted for.

I had a corroded lock on my bike rack that was inoperable and prevented access to the spare tire. The locksmith worked at it for at least 20 minutes, finally succeeded in getting the mechanism free, then charged only a small amount. I really appreciate the great skill and generosity I received in solving my lock problem.

I came in today w/ my aftermarket key and fob to have it cut for my 2010 Mazda 3, doing so w/out a guarantee. I was able to program the fob to lock and unlock the doors yet the key would not start the vehicle. For a 40$ fee they hooked up their key programmer and when completed the car started right up. I was very impressed with the expertise and service provided. I live in Broomfield and I'll have no problem driving to Boulder for my lock and key needs. I definitely would recommend Buffalo Security to other! I can't remember the technician's name, but he definitely went above and beyond to get my car up and running. Thanks again! Ken G.

Definitely the place in/around Boulder for all your locksmith needs. I needed a strange key fob cut for my Wrangler and Michael went above and beyond and helped to disassemble and reassemble the key fob including the pesky spring. Very few places these days offer such customer service especially for a basic key cut fee. Very impressed and happy to find a much better alternative to hardware stores with properly trained staff.

Just went in to get a few extra car keys. Jack, the general manager, had me in and out in less than five minutes. He was congenial, let me go out and test the keys to make sure they worked, and even gave me four keys for the price of two because I was a repeat customer and for 'restoring his faith in humanity'. Every time I've been, they've been absolutely wonderful. They've even come to bat when I've had issues in the parking lot unrelated to them. Wonderful business with exceptional service.

This is your typical key shop. I came here and needed a key cut. The service was fast and friendly. They have a wide assortment of different keys that can accommodate almost anyone. They also provide locksmith service.

Not only did they fit me into their schedule, they fixed the issue (with a very complex lock) within minutes. What nice people. My car-top Yakima box was missing its keys. I drove it in to the store, and they picked the locks for me. The locksmith even lent his lubricant spray to a non-customer nearby who was having trouble with their car-top box lock.

Can't say enough about Cindy and the rest of the staff here. I lost my car keys snowboarding at Eldora and they went above and beyond to get me a new set, driving all the way up from Boulder even though it was dumping snow. They also had the best price. Some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. They really went out of their way to help us out, and they didn't rip us off price wise. I don't really need locksmiths often, but if you're in the Boulder area and need help with locks and keys you can trust these guys to do everything they can to help you out for a fair price.

I feel this company tried to scam us out of $60. We had arranged a 9-11 window to have several locks re-keyed, the tech was to call us 30 minutes before his arrival to give us time to get to the home. We asked them to bring a key to key the locks to. They confirmed everything with me, and gave us a price. At 10:30 I called and was told the tech had been trying an incorrect number. We have had the same office number for 30+ years, we did not give them an incorrect number. At 11:30 they called to tell me the tech was at the house, so we rushed over. The tech did not bring a key, and tried to charge us an additional $60 to cut one. We had $24 cash in addition to the company check for the full payment we were quoted, because we drove all the way to Boulder we went ahead and settled for the $24 for cutting the key so as to not waste more time on this. I really am dissapointed that a company would quote us one price, then try and scam us out of more money. I called several companies to get pricing for what we needed done, this company gave me the lowest price, but then neglected to bring they key and tried to get another $60 out of us! We will not use Buffalo Lock and Key again and we do not recommend them to anyone.

Went in with my family on a Saturday explained my situation and they told me they could cut a key for my toolbox no problems! They wanted me to bring the box and the code Monday... So I did... 45 minutes of driving in traffic got there and after 30 seconds they said sorry nothing we can do... BOOOO I will never use them again!!!!!!

I called and set up an appointment two days in advance, and I focused my whole day's schedule around the two hour window they gave me. Buffalo Lock and Key never showed up, I even called to double check after waiting two hours. Use this business if you want to wait around for four hours to get canceled on after 5:30 pm. 'The order fell between the seats' and my dog ate my homework.

This place is the BEST! Cindy Angell took a broken key, and lock numbers from a commercial grade file chest, and was able to cut brand new keys for each level on the chest. I've also received a bike lock from this company and it is by far the BEST bike lock I've ever had! No longer feel unsafe leaving my bike some place. This place is fantastic!!
