My daughters was driving home from Granby and her car started smoking near the Golden turn off at I-70. We called our insurance company for road side assistance. They said it would be 3 hours. Her car was not able to start so she was sitting on the highway in the cold. Two hours after road side assistance was called they called my daughter to inform her the tow truck guy wouldn't allow her in the car. I was at least 2 hours away from her and didn't know what else to do so I called state patrol. It started snowing and there were accidents that closed I-70 in both directions. State patrol called my daughter to inform her they couldn't get to her because they had accidents to attend to. Mama bear called state patrol to explain She had been sitting there almost 4 hours her cell phone had 5% battery left of her phone, the highway was closed so I couldn't get to her, what was I suppose to do. Dispatch came back and said that a local tow truck driver heard dispatch talking to the state patrol and was near her and would stop to check on her. James got her out of the cold and kept her safe while I talked with my insurance company about what was going on. He literally waited with her for an hour. I ended up cancelling the original tow company because they got another call that was more important to them. James brought my daughter to me and towed her car to a shop in Castle Rock. He went far beyond and way out of his way to make sure my daughter was safe and taken care of. He didn't want to leave her stranded on the side of the highway. Its a shame that insurance company's look for the cheapest deal in tow company's. My insurance company made me pay the bill in the end and I have to file to be reimbursed. I just wish that when I was in that stressful situation they would have taken care of Black Hawk Towing like Black Hawk Towing took care of my daughter. That's a different review! Thank you again James Wolfe!

Called on a Saturday morning and spoke directly to the tow truck driver. He was very nice on the phone and in person. I was impressed with how fast he was able to get to my car in Central City and get it down to Denver.

My 2011 Jeep Liberty broke down on the 3rd level of the Isle of Capri casino in Blackhawk and I called AAA. Within 30 minutes James from Blackhawk towing showed up and promptly tried to get my jeep to start. After 20 minutes of doing the usual checks it was decided it had to be towed to my Mechanic in Loveland 85 miles away. James was pleasant and friendly during the ride as I rode with him to my mechanics. Thank you James.

Through my own mistake, I was left needing a tow. I had reached out to Rick (Owner, I guess) and briefed him of my predicament. He showed up when promised. He was able to retrieve my vehicle quickly and for what I felt to be a honest and fair price. I'm unsure if anyone else was expecting a butler, wearing a tuxedo and white gloves?? I needed a vehicle towed. He showed up as promised, went to work on it right away and was able to pull out my 'stuck truck'. Thanks Rick

Not impressed at all. Driver (who claimed he was the owner) dropped off a vehicle and refused to put it where we wanted since he already had it partially off. It would have taken him two minutes to make it right. Said he was in a hurry. He was arrogant and could care less what we thought. Don't use these guys if your life depends on it.
