Been going there for years they are reliable and polite. I've yet to use them at my home..... I have had them rekey locks never had a problem always worked fine.. 75% of the time they have the replacement key I need..I will stay a loyal steady customer to them. Convenient as they are downtown.

Nevermind the negative reviews from eggheads. Go anywhere else and tell me how much better their service, capability and level of knowledge is...while you wait an hour to get a lock rekeyed, the lock person is gone for the day, or get told that they can't do your lock because it's not something they carry or have the proper blanks for. I've been going to Simmons since 1992, and have never ever had a problem. They are the only lock experts in the valley IMHO.

I called Simmons lock and key because I had locked my keys in the car in 100+ degree weather. They told me it would be 20 minutes max and I waited outside for over an hour and a half and no apology, it was $55 for him to unlock my car in less than 2 minutes. NEVER will call or have their service again.

I managed to break the only key to my car, I was looking at a huge bill to rekey the whole thing but Simmons was able to make a perfect copy using the broken pieces of my old key, it was cheap, fast, easy, and a very pleasant experience.

Seemed very annoyed and too prideful to hear ideas on how to unlock the car he ended up not just not doing it but told me he had somewhere to be and pretty much just drove off.other than the rude and not remorseful goodbye he acted like I wasn't even there.Allreds Mobil locksmith came and unlocked it within 3 trys ,less than 5 mins, charged less and shook my hand treating me with respect the whole time.

I called them to see if they could help with a Pop machine lock, they said YES we can do that!!!!Then after a 45 drive into GJ they spent all of about 2 minutes telling me no we cant help with that.I am not a huge customer but that is the place I always went and sent people. NOT ANY MORE.

Customer service is awful, employees were argumentative, and, ultimately, I had a bad experience. Not sure how they have been in business for so long. Perhaps a simple 'hello, how can I help you' when a person walks in? Guess that's too much to ask.
