I have been a member of AAA for nearly 20 years and its very unfortunate that they are cutting corners contracting services from this company. Being locked out of my car, I called AAA and they referred to A-1 Lock & Key. Their employee used a tool and proceeded to unlock the drivers door near the handle. I heard a cracking noise but the door did not open.Then he moved closer to the lock and opened it. It was done very fast, I wanted to tip him but gave me no time since he left in a hurry. I understood his haste when I noticed that the interior door handle was broken. I called AAA and explained the situation and they gave me A-1 Lock & Key contact info. Michael Jr came to see the damage few days later, and told that they would investigate what happened with the employee who unlocked the door. After 10 days of no reply and run around, I managed to talk with Michael. Incredibly he accused me for causing the damage to my door. Sarcastically, he wished me luck. The damages to my car caused by this inept 'professionals' (parts & labor) are about $180. So if you get locked out, maybe its going to be cheaper if you break your window with a brick before calling this people.

I was locked out of my own car in a Walgreens parking lot shortly near 163rd and 15th avenue when A-1 Lock and Key showed up in remarkable time (as little as 15 minutes!) to save the day. Guy pulled out some sort of contraption that slid in between the door with a pump and in as little as 15 seconds had the door open and keys in my hand! Of course I had to come back by Google Reviews and give the man the rating he truly deserved! 5 Stars! Excellent fastest service I've ever had by AAA--and I've been a customer for over 10 years. Says a lot. Thanks!

Completely disappointed and dissatisfied with this companys way of handling issues. They staff are rude and nonchalant. Please, spare yourselves the trouble and just pay for another professional locksmith. I will be contacting AAA and BBB to move further, yes they agreed to fix it, but at this point after a week and getting an attorney I do not even trust them near my vehicle!

BEWARE AAA IS GOING TO CONTINUE TO REFER MEMBERS TO A-1 Lock & Key WHO HAS OUTRAGIOUS PRICES FOR CAR KEY REPLACEMENT!!!!I was referred to A-1 Lock & Key by AAA. I didn't have any idea of what the replacement prices would be but trusted that AAA would send me to a reputable honest company. I'm a basic AAA member and rec'd 50.00 discount. The company charged me $325.00 - 50.00 discount = 275.00 for a remote car key or $225.00 - 50.00 discount = 175.00 for a regular car key. They were out of the remote keys and I needed to purchase a regular key for $175.00. When my daughter got home from work she checked other locksmiths and the total charge for a remote car key was 160.00 and a regular car key was 100.00 (and that is their regular prices without the 50.00 discount from AAA). I called AAA to complain and they stated they contract the work to third party contractors and don't have anything to do with the prices. I requested to have AAA inform the members to shop around for prices before using their so called trusted contractor. I'm sure that will never happen. Also A-1 Lock & Key arrived over two hours after the estimated time of arrival.

WORST SERVICE!This is the worst people ever. There employees beside being liers are disrespectful toward clients.There employees have no experience what so ever.I have been trying for them to program a key that I bought from them and now will not work due to their employee Mr Chris leaving my car opened and it getting all flooded.Mrs. Washington who is supposed to be the manager is the biggest lier. She not only lies about everything, but she has no word.

When you get their service through aaa, it is horrible. They left the customer on the roadside for4.5 hrs. They played game in order to put the orders in line. If people have some common sense would think that the reason we need lock smith because we lost the car key. If we lost the car key, everything is locked inside the car. How in the hell they think they can call back to get whatever extra information they need. Then they claimed since they could not reach us and cancelled the rescue order by themselves and leave the aaa customer stranded in the street. When i called aaa again, aaa made me to start over n placed the order again which means i wasted 1 hour waiting for nothing and had to wait for another hour. I placed the order at 6pm and got blew off without being notified. I was forced to place 2nd order at 7pm and was promised to get the latest service by 8:15pm. This damn company contacted me after 15 mins and said they would be there about 45 mins. After 45 mins it became another 30 mins. They finally showed up at 10:30 pm. That was 4.5 hours. Do you call this professional quality service ????? Or this is because they only make $10 off the customer because we use aaa????? So for paying $10 difference, we were deserved to get horrible service???? If there is zero star for the rating, i will rate zero .
