Called with the key code for my 1993 Honda motorcycle and was told to either call a mobile guy or call back another day when someone else is there. I was told that even though they carried the keys that nobody there knew anything about motorcycle keys. Not much use if they can't cut off of codes

I have been to several locksmith getting keys made for the machine's on our projects and they typically have an issue. This was my first time into Affordable lock and decided to have 10 keys made all at once. Once I return back to the project every key worked perfectly. Will definitely be using them again in the future. And it doesn't hurt that the staff was very personable.

I told Affordable Lock I had an electronic safe lock. I told them it is becoming more difficult to open the door. When I input the combination, the lock lights up & a click is heard when the combination is correct. So I knew the lock worked properly. However, the safe door will not open. They sent out a service man who immediately pulls out and replaces the 9-V battery. They charged me $118 service call + put salt in the wound by charging $9.95 for one 9V battery!! NO ONE ever asked me if the battery had been replaced lately. Afterwards, the tech said the lock lights and clicking shows battery has some power left but not enough to open the safe door. My opinion: Everyone I talked to was aware of the problem but they wanted their $128. I won't be going back to them.

I called Affordable Lock on Monday to arrange for someone to come and install new locks on two of our doors. I explained that I wanted brand new locks installed, telling them that I no longer wanted the bronze that was currently installed, but rather brushed aluminum. I was given an appointment date of Wednesday morning. Tuesday morning I stopped by at the Affordable Lock store in Clermont. I spoke to a gentleman there, explaining that I had already called and that an appointment was set, but I wanted to add that I had another two doors that I wanted rekeyed. I showed the man in the store pictures of what I currently had on my doors. I told him about the brushed aluminum locks and handles that I wanted. He showed me one in the store, asking me if that was what I wanted. I said yes, and if that one wasnt reserved for someone else, I asked if he could put my name on it to save it for me. He assured me that he would, and that he would tell the locksmith who was coming to my house exactly what I wanted.The next morning the locksmith came to my door, and when I asked about the new locks, he said he was only told that he was coming to rekey my locks, not to install new locks altogether. He then told me that he wasnt even sure if the store had what I wanted, and said that they may have to be ordered. He went on to say that if I went to Home Depot or Lowes myself and bought them, it would be cheaper. I had to go to Home Depot myself to buy the locks, and the guy returned a couple house later to install them. When he was finished, he charged me over $200 to install the locks I bought. I feel that this amount was excessive, considering that I spoke to TWO different employees about what I wanted, making myself very clear, and they still messed things up, and I had to be the one to run out and buy the locks, which cost me nearly $200 for the locks. I think I should have gotten some kind of discount for all my trouble caused by their company. When I first talked to the employee on the phone she told me that the total amount would be around $200, and I thought that included the locks and installation. I am disappointed at this companys charges after all of their mess ups.

Experienced master locksmiths who can do anything from making keys that work the first time (unlike the big box stores etc.) to doing state of the art residential and commercial entry/lock security systems. I upgraded my home to key-less entry systems that also have the whole house on a single key as backup. They have a wide range of safes that they can securely install that I will be my next improvement. They now have additional locations and cover central Florida and beyond. It went better than anyone could have expected. I bought this used 2006 Chrysler car and it only had one remote control to it (remote for security system and to start the car). I wanted a 2nd one. I then went to the local Chrysler dealership and they had to order they 2nd remote control for my car. It came in 9 days (they didn't have it in stock). After one hour they said they ordered the wrong one and that I would have to come back when they get the correct one ordered, so I said no. I went to Affordable Lock and Security Solutions 712 S Hwy 27, Minneola, FL 34715 (Clermont)I had done business with them when I purchased my house a couple years ago where they came out and installed all new deadbolts and locksets on my house. They had the correct remote control chip set part in stock (they didn't have to order it like the Chrysler dealership had to). I did not have to make an appointment (just show up during the day). They also told me that there are four total sets out there including the one I brought. I had just bought this used 2006 Chrysler and I only had the one set, so they 'removed' the other three sets, reprogrammed my set, and they created a 2nd remote control set (to lock / unlock the car, turn on/off my security system and to start the car). WOW, I did not even know there were other sets out there from prior owners of my car I just bought. Now those other sets won't be able to start the car, and only my original set, and the new set can. GREAT job. FAST job. LOWER priced than the dealer, no appointment needed, and they had the parts in stock.
