Staff was very friendly. Price for a car key was much cheaper than dealer quoted, and I could get it immediately. I was in and out in 10 minutes with my new key. I will definitely go back if I need another key. A very positive experience, no complaints.

Couldnt find a reason this company, Augusta Location Specifically, would or could be highly rated. Stranded with my keys locked my car, was told an On-Call Technician would call me, 30 minutes later no call.. Thank God I Called Mr. Pik-A-Lock, took him 5 seconds to answer the phone and 10 minutes to show up. By the way, 4 hours since Dixie Lock Of Augusta said a tech would call me, no call. Garbage way to run a company, and never again will I attempt to waste my time and energy calling Dixie to unlock anything! Call Someone Else! Anyone Else!

Very happy with Dixie Lock and Safe. They were responsive to my request. Mercer at their store listened to my problem, recommended some options and explained them in detail, and then scheduled a visit that day. Their technician, Will, was polite, respectful and professional. he explained everything he was doing and walked me through instruction on how to use my new electronic lock. And the price was fair. I recommend them highly.

As soon as I walked in I didn't see anyone but soon figured it was because I was standing behind a safe and I short lol. But as soon as one gentleman saw me, he immediately asked if I needed assistance. While he was making my keys, another gentleman came from the back and asked if I had been helped. Great customer service. I'm just happy they had the key I needed!!! You guys rock!!!

They wanted to charge me 300 dollars , 375 if my door couldnt be read for an 05 Ford Explorer to be rekeyed which is an insane price even if its is for what yall call emergency services, what are the regular prices I wonder if its that high.... luckily I found somebody to do it for 165 and it took less than an hour to open my door and make new keys which further makes that price absolutely ridiculous..... update since those owner responded: no I do not have the wrong place you are lying and for your not to do 05 Ford Explorer keys you sure were willing to come out and fix it if I paid your 300 to 375 dollar fee which clearly was a rip off from that response you gave me, if yall dont know what Im talking about check with the locksmiths yall have give us return calls because I was definitely quoted those very high prices

Ive grown up going to Dixie and always trusted and relied on them. I moved out of town and had to get copies made of a master work key. After having no luck at 3 other places, I brought the key when visiting and they were incredibly nice, quick, helpful,etc. Best part is I have working copies now!!

Big thank you to Dixie Lock and Safe from the managers at Deluxe Inn Lodging for Business & Workforce.Great mobile lock technicians. They provided quick and efficient service. Lock safety and security is the utmost importance in protecting our hotel guests, vendors, suppliers, and staff. No shortcuts allowed! We needed lock mechanism repair and we called and within 45 minutes, a mobile lock technician arrived. Highly recommend sending email photos of the situation at hand. Describing a lock mechanism from a novice is futile. Utilize tech to your advantage. Send a photo or two and allow the professional lock technician to look it over. Don't be the expert.He was kind and courteous. He listened to the concern, surmised the situation, diagnosed the required work, and set forth. Service was done within 20 minutes. Love when a plan comes together. Thanks y'all.

Today I went in to have my car key replaced. The key came off of the actual remote, After call around dealing with various other locksmiths, I finally called Dixie and spoke with a lady who was very polite and professional, based off of that I chose to use them to replace my key. Service was quick. I think we were in and out in about 15 minutes. Price was fare. BTW $35.00 cheaper than quotes given by AAA locksmith for the same service. I paid $100, I had my old remote, and a copy of the car key, they made it happen. Good Job Guys.

This was the second place that popped up on Google, so I called them second. Thankfully, I did the first company was a complete rip off, trying to charge me $300+ for a key to my home. $29 service fee, $1 a minute for labor, and $50 per lock. Called Dixie Lock $15 if I brought lock and around $75 to come to me. They were fast and friendly as well.

Derrick the locksmith was knowledgeable and accommodating. While he couldn't pick the lock itself open he worked through all his alternate options and found a solution. Amy on the phone was helpful and her estimation matched the total exactly for distance and after hour call. Not cheap (nor overpriced) but if you're the fool who gets locked out it's worth paying a fair price for expert labor to help you get back in.

I was shocked to find out they would be able to copy my car key which has the chip in it, and double shocked when I was told the price. Toyota was trying to charge TRIPLE for the exact same service. To make a long story short, my 2005 Dodge Dakota truck key broke at work. The silver part completely broke off somewhere and I had no idea until I got off and went to get into my truck and realized I only had the black handle part of my key. As I frantically tried figuring out every possible option I had, I headed to Milton Rubin Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep of Augusta under the impression they could make me a new key without a chip in order to save some money. Upon my arrival to the dealership told me I could only have a key with a chip installed that would work with my truck, which was going to cost me $285 for the key and another $85 to synchronize the chip with my truck?? This would all include a tow fee as well because they would need my truck to do the work.. I was panicking at this point and calling every locksmith online I could find. Finally I was directed to Dixie Lock and Safe, where I was informed they would send a service vehicle out TO ME, make me a brand new chipless key, and would only cost me $185! They were very fast getting to me and had the work done in less than 10 minutes. Im in awe of how well they took care of me in my time of need and how evil that dealership is. I simply cannot recommenced Dixie Lock and Safe enough and will be taking all business involving matters such as this straight to them.Major shoutout to Will and Kale for such great service; to the Milton Rubin dealership of Augusta, how do yall live with yourselves knowing you take advantage of people while theyre down?

I came into this store today for the first time ever. I needed assistance with my car keys, both of them were out of wack and needed to be replaced. I was greeted at the counter, by two fantastic gentlemen! I told them my issue, and one of the gentlemen quickly gave a solution to fix the problem. I was given an unbelievable quote to fix both car keys. I got the price of two keys for less than half of what The Honda Dealership wanted to charge me for ONE Key! I was in and out of there within 15 minutes! Customer service was top notch there, I would recommend this business to everyone . I will definitely be back for all of my locksmith needs.

Great to have a neighborhood service locally but the customer service was not so great! Whomever sitting at the dispatch need to go through a customer training service course in order to better serve customers especially there are people calling that are not trained to be a locksmith so they need to further break down on the service and fee. It must have been a miscommunication between the service crew and myself so I would like to ask on the approximate price on service that I've paid of which I assume it will be no hassle as they have a set of basic charge for service call, labor, and change lock, change key, etc. instead the reception is speaking in a very attitude tone. BAD service won't lead you anywhere further into your career nor does help the business to retain its loyal customer when there are chain/franchise that are constantly improve on their service. SAVE LOCAL BUSINESS !!!
