Tech was unpleasant and didnt really tell me what was going on. He was trying to break in and i noticed the wall was gettibg damaged. I asked if the door could be picked to avoid damage and he said no. Later he said the lock will need to be drilled and charged $180. I declined and paid the $20 for visit. I saw the bad reviews but thought mines was an easy case, unfortunately i should've listened to the reviews

I started using Smyrna Locksmith about 2.3 years ago. he is amazing. He knows his stuff...has saved me a lot of money over the years. I have had him cut and program keys, fobs, and building keys. Very friendly and reliable.

Fast and friendly and now owned by a longtime employee, I stopped in to get a new key programmed because my old one had a broken key ring. He programmed a new key *and* replaced my old one by grafting the chip into a new key. Now I have two good keys and a broken one to open the door! Honestly a great service, i called in for a re key throughout our whole office. The pricing was cheaper than any one around as to why i was a little spectacle but in the end was a great and experienced technician who was able to guide me and show me what i needed. Would recommend!!!!

BEWARE! On the phone you think youre dealing with courteous english speaking reps; Was quoted a price for a simple lock installation. She quoted me several prices depending upon what I was wanting, for one lock installed, plus the $20 for the driver showing up. The driver shows up, barely speaking English, not polite, looks at the door and says its going to be more than twice what I was quoted on the phone. Just a simple wooden bedroom door, which Ive had done before so I am familiar with what the price range should have been. This guy whom I could barely understand didnt even try to give me any options. So I had him leave my house as I called back to the office to find out if this was legit but kept getting a recording that no one is available. The recording didnt even sound like a legitimate business. Maybe the positive reviewers had a better experience but beware!

I got locked out of my truck at work. So I called these guys I was told it would be $85. He came a couple hours later.Spent two minutes getting into my truck. They charged my card $105. This is a rip off business I would suggest calling someone else.

The tech came to me, was courteous and prompt, and made new keys and had them programmed to my vehicle. The cost was less than what the dealership quoted me. This company is top notch! I would highly recommend them!

My vehicle's key was lost, long story. I had a spare key that would unlock the doors, but not start the engine, because it was not programed. I thought it was going to be a big deal, that I would be expensive and take a bunch of time. I called Smyrna Locksmith & Security, and they two very professional and nice guys at my location later that day. About 10 minutes later they handed me a working key! I couldn't believe it. I don't know how much time and money they saved me over calling the dealership, but I know it was a lot! Thank you so much for making what I thought would be a very stressful and time-consuming problem something that I barely noticed! Hopefully I never loose my vehicle keys again, but if I do, or if I need another one made, I am calling Smyrna Locksmith & Security,!

I was told it would be $19 call out fee. ok .Locksmith came quickly .I just needed a barrel changed in my door as had lost the key. the locksmith was good and finished in 15 minutes but I had a bill of $240 - so total $259.i left a message to complain but no one called back .he did a good job but come on... I feel like I was ripped off .

YES locksmith Smyrna a pleasure to do business with. Their technician, Danny, was polite and on time. He assessed the problem with my door lock and had a replacement installed within an hour. In addition to the replacement lock he made me key copies on the spot. The price was reasonable and the service was great. Highly recommended!

If I could give zero stars I would. First noted that the storefront is no longer there. The person who answered the phone said they were now Mobile Only. Only trucks. So I made the appointment for all new locks and dead bolts. The guy showed up in a barely marked truck. The inside of the truck was a mess. Pieces of doorknobs and old locks all over the floor. The guy was very tall and spoke with a very heavy eastern European accent and very hard to understand. As well not not being at all friendly. I asked the price and he said 850.00. Fast forward to the install. He left the old locks right by the doors. I had to clean them up. I had to request matching strike plates be installed as he left the old rusted ones. When it came time to pay he ran the card and it was 1500.00. When I asked he said locks, installation, service charge, same key charge and tax. Do NOT use these people. They are not local. Likely not even US citizens. I cant even find them anywhere. I plan to dispute the charges on my credit card. Repeated calls go unanswered. They also go by the name Dr. Locksmith out of Doraville.

We needed our door re-key going into the weekend. Called David on Sunday morning and he was able to accommodate same day service due to the urgency of our situation. He stopped by, gave good advice on which locks to pick. Re-keyed the locks in no time, while being very nice and polite. Hopefully we won't need locksmith services any time soon, but if we do, I'll be sure to contact David for any issues.

An employee named David came out and got a key that broke in my cars ignition. I pretty much thought it was stuck in for good, they got it out in a few minutes a made me a new one on spot, total service was less than a hour. Definitely earned the 5 star rating

This team is great! I have been trying to find my mailbox key for about a week. Finally I gave up the search and called them. They were here in 15 minutes and resolved my issue The price was very reasonable as well. This is great for someone on the go like me that doesnt have all day to wait for a locksmith. I was pleased with the fairly prompt and polite service (opening a locked bathroom door and replacing the door handle) but when I after-the-fact compared what I was charged with other locksmiths discovered that I was charged way more than the usual charge. My requests to speak to the manager were ignored. This is not a 'local locksmith' as you might think from the name. It seems to be more of a dispatcher and takes no responsibility for the worker sent to your house. Beware.

We wanted to get quote on adding extra lock on our door. Through the phone lady told us it will be between $150 - $200. But when the technician came out he gave us the quote of $900. Insane, $900 to add extra lock on the door? Total reap off.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They lie, they do not show u on time, no communication the list goes on. I scheduled a 4pm appointment being locked out of the car on almost 100* weather. It is now approximately 6:17 and NO ONE has shown up or called. This company is very unprofessional. I strongly suggest you find another company for your locksmith needs..

I'd give less than one star if I could. Had them dispatch a technician to re-key 3 doors. Never covered what it would cost and ended up being almost 3 times what I was quoted originally. The technician, David, spent more time on the phone than working. He showed up 45 minutes past the window I was given and said it would take an hour. 2 hours later he still wasn't done and said he needed another part he didn't have and would be back in an hour after lunch. This was at 1130. He showed back up at 3 pm. After multiple phone calls. This was about a month ago. Today, home owner went to unlock his front door and the key barrel pushed into the lock. The key broke off trying to get it out. Called this company back and spoke to I believe Nicole. Said that's not covered under warranty and they'd charge too go back out. Why would I pay to have you go back to correct a problem your technician failed to address? Company is not accommodating, rude, and doesn't seem to care about their customers. Don't use them. We won't for the thousands of dollars in lock work we do each month.
