Buying a car from Pre-Owned Motor Cars Ltd was without a doubt the best car buying experience that Ive had. After falling in love with a car that was a bit out of my price range, I was considering purchasing a vehicle from Facebook marketplace. When Shinjo followed up with me I let him know what I was thinking and instead of being pushy, unresponsive, or rude, he responded with some really helpful advice on how to make sure that I wasnt being taken advantage of and that it was actually a good deal. I decided to go back in to speak with him in person and ended up with a thorough counseling session from Ryan, their GM and financing guru. I could sense that these guys were really looking out for my best interest, not just trying to win the sale. They told me everything I would need to know if I did want to buy a car off the marketplace, while also highlighting the advantages of working with them. Ultimately the advantages far outweighed the additional cost. Not only did they take care of all the registration details so you never have to go to the DMV, but they advised me on which insurance company to use, and the fastest path to paying off my loan.As a newcomer to the island Im so grateful for these guys. I felt truly taken care of and looked after as a customer and I would recommend them to anyone!!

Just had my 3rd child and thought it was time for a minivan, stopped by Pre-Owned Motor Cars and met Rhino Watt. I've bought a few cars from other dealerships before but I was blown away by the customer service and how well they stand behind their vehicles. We bought an amazing Chrysler Town & Country and drove it home, noticed the brakes were shaky driving home and went back into to talk with Rhino the next day. The replaced the brakes & rotors plus changed the fluid in the AC at absolutely no cost to us. I will be back to buy again from them and anyone looking for a vehicle go check them out and ask for 'Rhino'. Mahalo for the great service and awesome car!

This was the easiest car purchase that I've ever had. starting with Joe welcoming you and asking what brings you in, no hard push , makes you feel comfortable. Had been there a few months earlier just looking and he remembered me. The buying process was so smooth with Roger no paperwork to complete! (that's unheard of) before you know it you're buying a car. Ryan was super efficient and quick. All those guys are awesome!

We had a great experience at Pre-owned motor cars with our salesperson Ryan Rhino Watt as well as the manager Ryan Kennedy. Rhino was really helpful on the phone but not bothering us all the time like other dealerships were. When we decided to show up at the dealership in Kona last minute he was able to accommodate us and he helped us make the best decision when came to financing a vehicle from a private seller on Craigslist or through their dealership. Rhino ran a report on the private sellers vehicle and figured out all the costs (some we didnt expect!) so we could really compare the two. We learned a lot and Rhino helped us make what we feel was the best decision when they sold us a car. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with, love our CR-V and have no regrets. A surprisingly positive car buying experience.

EDIT 3/13/2020: They never owned up to the fact that they sold me a junk overpriced vehicle. On top of that, they were going to charge me an arm and a leg for the repairs that existed when I purchased the vehicle! All four motor mounts were bad which causes the vehicle to 'clunk' when switching gears, plus the a/c compressor is on its way out, not to mention the transmission which they never even checked. I realize buying a used car is an 'as is' purchase, but they need to be honest about the condition of the vehicle during the sale and not overcharge customers. The price I paid for the vehicle is much higher than the value with as many mechanical defects that it had when I purchased it. I hope the people at pre-owned motor cars will own up to their mistake and make it right. The sales experience itself at this place was fine, it's the car I'm not 100% satisfied with. Since purchasing only a few months ago, I've had to replace the brakes and rotors, and the transmission needed servicing and will probably not last very long as it's performing poorly. They claimed the reason for the low price was because of peeling paint but I suspect they knew about mechanical issues and didn't disclose them to us beforehand. It's upsetting because we actually purchased this car to replace our old one with transmission problems. It sucks because once the transaction is done on a used car there's no going back.
