Let me start by saying I never right reviews on places. So when I visited this place I wasnt expecting to get blown away but I was pleasantly surprised. I was having a pretty rough day and the last place I expected to make my day was this place. Came in and was out in 3-4 minutes. Wasnt pressured into anything I didnt need, they just got straight to business. All I need was my car key cut and thats exactly what I got. Kirk helped me out and was very courteous and friendly as well as everyone else. Would recommend this place again and again cant beat great prices, and great customer service. Go here if you need anything lock or key related, you wont regret it.

I went here looking for a key fob for my used car I recently bought. Their prices were on par with other people I called. What made them different was the customer service! The gentleman that assisted me was the owners son and he was absolutely outstanding! What an honest and trustworthy young man. I will recommend this company anytime someone needs a key or key fob or help with being locked out of their vehicle. We need more companies and people like this! Great job guys!!

I recently purchased a car and I was given a second key fob. Thought the key fob wasnt programmed so I went to advanced lock and key. The staff wanted to check the battery on the fob before programming it and sure enough it was the battery. Saved me a ton of money and got my extra key working. They are quick and professional.

Curtis at Advanced L&K is Amazing! I called because my battery was dead and located in the wagon portion of my Volvo, which can only be unlocked with the vehicle controls, which weren't working because the battery was dead. He could have come out and charged me to impart his wisdom but No he just explained that there's a separate connection under the hood and then re-explained to my son so he could jump start my car. A little human kindness is a wonderful thing. I hope it comes back to him and his business a hundred fold! He'll be my first call the next time I need a locksmith. Thanks again.

They have a lot of positive reviews on here, so I'm going to assume my experience was not typical, but here's what happened:I called them at approximately 6pm on a Tuesday night for an ignition lock cylinder that had gone bad. They told me it would be a two and a half to three our wait to get a tech out to me, but they could do it that night. I declined and set an appointment for the following Wednesday morning at 10am.At 10:15am, no one had shown up or contacted me, so I texted the same number as the previous night asking if they were still working on my car today. I got no response and waited until 10:30am to call them. When talking to the person on the phone I was told that a previous job had run long and he would get to me when he could. No apology, either for being late or not contacting me to let me know they were running late. I received a 'Yes' text message in response to my 10:15am at approximately 10:40am. A one word response, now at 40 minutes past the appointed time. I eventually received a text saying the tech was on it's way and would be there in 15-20 minutes, at 11:37am. The technician arrived at approximately 12:20pm. Which is rather more than 15-20 minutes, and now 2 hours and 20 minutes past the appointed time. The tech did the work promptly and professionally, and was done in about 1/2 an hour. No complaints there.My complaint is the complete lack of an apology or consideration for my time.I understand that previous jobs run long. Stuff happens. That's fine. This was excessive. I had to initiate contact at every point, and I'm not entirely convinced that my appointment would have been remembered had I not texted and called them well after the job was supposed to have started.The short version: The work is good, the prices are competitive, but if you need a job done within a scheduled period, maybe don't count on them.

I was looking to get 1 key fob programmed because I had lost my keys. From a dealership it was going to cost $320, without having a locksmith coming to unlock my truck for them. Called these guys up and told me they could come out within 1 hour of calling them, open up my truck and program 2 keys for $290. They are an excellent and efficient company. Took a matter of 20 minutes to do both keys and they were very professional. Cheapest and quickest company to go through for keys and locked cars. 10/10 would recommend!

Called to ask if they would be able to unlock my stuck car trunk, no rush at all since I'm just at home. The owner said 'Sure thing, I'll be there in an hour!' Quoted me 85 dollars because it would probably need to be lockpicked, which takes more effort and skill, and I was completely fine with the price. He showed up about 20 minutes earlier than expected and was able to have my car trunk unlocked in less than 5 minutes. Since it was so quick he only charged me around 50 dollars (base service charge). Super friendly, prompt, and reliable. I would definitely recommend their services.Edit: I wanted to mention that they do key fobs for cars as well.. which is cool because I asked my car dealership if I could get a replacement. The dealership said it would cost about 150 dollars and I would need an appointment, which was about a week out. I asked Advance Lock and Key and they said they would program me one for a third of the cost and do it on the spot for me. Super convenient.

We came in to get a new key fob because ours wasnt starting with the push button or locking/unlocking our car. At first the new fob wasnt working to use push start, after Jacob has tried to reprogram and it still wasnt working. He tried another key fob because he was determined to make it work. And it worked! I bought a key replacement eight months ago, for a chipped key. I was charged $85. Now, It is starting to warp. When I called about the warranty that was mentioned when I bought the key, I was given many excuses as to why it's the fault of something else. When I asked point blank if there was or was not a warranty, the owner told me that 'if I ever talked to him like that again, he would come smack the sh*t out of me.' Do not use this business.

Went over to get a special car key cut today, and I have to say Jacob the owner was a real class act. It took a little extra finesse to cut the new key as the old one was badly worn, but Jacob got it nailed down in under 10 mins. Cant recommend this business enough if youre in need of a solid locksmith!

Stopped in the shop to have a remote battery replaced. Joe and Jacob got me in the road within minutes. Joe was working an antique change machine and conversation turned to an antique gum ball machine Ive been looking to open for years. I returned to the shop later in the day and within 3 minutes Joe had the bad boy unlocked and within 20 minutes I was walking out with an original lock and new key. Wow! I am a senior citizen and locked myself out of my car. I called for service and was told it may be 45 minutes. I prepared for the wait and was pleasantly surprised about 15 minutes later when Joe drove up. Joe was quick pleasant and efficient as he got me into my car within moments.
