Why go anywhere else when you need a key? I just had my first visit to the shop due to an unfortunate incident with a broken key. Walked in, was greeted quickly, and helped quickly. In and out in less than 10 minutes! Amazing service! Knowledgeable staff. I now have a new place to go for all of my key needs; I wont be shopping any of those branded stores and exhaustingly waiting for help or to find a employee! This was the best! If you need a key; or locksmith service, I highly recommend! Shop local! It makes sense!

Employee couldn't make key due to lack of knowledge on machine then proceeded to tell me to wait over a week when his father came back bc he knows how to use the machine better. Employe should know how to use all equipment if he's going to run the store by himself. Would've given 5 stars otherwise.

I drove all the way from Granite City and had three made and two of the three keys were made wrong then they asked me to bring up what the keys went to like that makes a difference they cut the keys wrong or I was lying or something like I really want to waste my gas and time driving all the way back out to Alton

Theyre only open Monday through Friday 8-4, but they supposedly open for emergencies; when you call their number after hours, youre promoted to leave a message with your name and number explaining the situation. However, dont expect a call back. Ever. Im not sure why you would tell people youre open for emergencies and let them leave their number if youre not even gonna bother calling them back. Im sure they leave a lot of people stranded because of this. Youre better off calling Al Davenport, he meets you any day at any time, comes to your location, and is very professional and prompt. Take a lesson, Belle Street Key Service.
