I needed 2 key fobs programmed for my car as both sets of my keys were lost. The dealership made it very difficult and pricey for me to have this done. Instead, I called Active Lock & Key and Dale was extremely helpful and upfront. They had me taken care of in a matter of 1 hour. I will be calling them for any lock & key needs in the future and highly recommend them for their promptness and professionalism.

Best locksmith shop in a hundred miles .all sorts of safes and hardware. The entire staff is well seasoned in their trade. And the shop has had the same owners and for the most part the same employees for decades. Can't go wrong with someone who does their job right and been there forever .they must be doing something right.

I needed a key for a 74 VW and my copy was very worn. Active made the copies adjusting for the degradation of the original. Then they told me to bring the VW by if there were any issues. Service was great and the keys work better than the original.

Perfect keys every time. Store hours: M-F 8-5, Sat 9-12, Sun closed, 24/7 locksmith hotline.They normally stamp their logo onto new keys unless specifically requested otherwise.I once got a key here that cut my finger a bit, so I have them round off the edges.

We purchased a keypad lock and after receiving the lock realized we needed a professional to install it. I called Dale at Active Lock & Key and they were so responsive! Within days, one of their locksmiths came out, believe his name was Mike. Mike was very capable and promptly installed the keypad and walked me through how the lock and codes worked. Excellent customer service and value!

I actually lost my condo keys. Dale came out and rekeyed my doors within a short time. He was very personable, and knowledgeable. Hopefully no more issues, however will be using them if so and referring them to anyone in need of a locksmith. They were terrific!

I called Active Lock and Key after we didnt hear back from Anderson Lock about installing a smart lock on our front door. We had an appointment schedule the next day and they were upfront about the cost to look at our current hardware and cost to install. Mark came out and inspected what we have and was able to install the new lock. He was very knowledgeable with Schlage products and even the smart lock we got. As he worked, he kept telling us what he was doing so we were informed. He had no problems with the installation and was even kind enough to fix the hinges on the front door because it was catching every time we close it and even told us what we need to do in the future if the problem returns. We will definitely use their services again in the future.

Worst service and rude employees! I had my car key made there on 2018, it was a good and great the 1st time. My Second experience was not that great at all.I called them to ask about a new key on my car, a employee who picked up the phone was really rude and loud with me right away. He was upset bcz I was questioning a high price of 130$ dollars for 1 key vrs a Previously total price of 85$. The only reason I went there in the first place was because I the reviews were great. The owner had Previously told me to come back for the second key and that hell give me a better deal on the second key. But Im not sure Ill go back there after this bad experience with this employee. I will make sure that Ill tell the people i know about the rude employees they have working there. I had told the guy that Ive simply was calling to ask you for a price because they originally had told me to come back there and theyll give me a better deal the second time! You cant treat your customers disrespectfully, I was never loud or rude to the person. I was just simply trying to explain my situation.

I called Active Lock to get a price for a replacement key fob for my 2013 Honda pilot. I gave the person on the phone the year make and model and was put on hold for a few minutes. I was a little apprehensive but when he returned to our conversation he was very informative explaining that there were 3 different model key fobs for my vehicle and quoted me a price range (mind you i called other places including the dealer and no one took the time to help just said 'bring it in we do not quote over the phone') I went to their store to inquire further and the person at the counter opened my fob in front me, got the serial number from inside and also tested my existing fobs battery(which i had no clue it had one). After 30 minutes and $40 less than what i was quoted on the phone i had a new fob and battery for my old fob. These guys are awesome, not only are their prices great but they really know what they are doing and they take the time to educate you instead of brushing you off and making you feel like an idiot. P.S. stay away from the car dealerships their price was more that twice as much. I will recommend you guys to everyone i know. Sincere Thank you, Adam

We had a problem opening our front door and I could not figure out the problem. I took the lock in and the owner quickly explained what was wrong and how to fix it. All in less than 2 minutes in the shop. I should have gone there last year and saved a lot of frustration. They also have large keys for seniors. Especially helpful if you have arthritis in your fingers or hands as my spouse does.

Don't go on a Saturday because apparently they can only cut very basic keys because there are no specialist. Service somewhat lacks and takes at least 5 minutes to get the employees attention.
