When a mower was brought in for repair, we asked to know what the costs were prior to repair to see if it was feasible to purchase another. They completed all repairs totaling $105 and never asked us if we wanted them done and told us the repairs are done, you need to pay. They wouldnt remove the cost of the repair off the new mower either. Unreliable place that takes advantage of people.

This place runs very well. You can be in and out in under five minutes. Thats something youll never be able to do at the big box stores. Furthermore, the staff is top-notch, extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and polite. Please give this store your business, they definitely deserve it.

I went to the hardware store to pick up my lawnmower after having it serviced. I asked a manager about a door handle for a sliding patio door. He looks on the bottom of a shelf at something that is taped close and another piece that is just sitting on the shelf and offers them to me as possible solutions. The items are open and he was still looking to sale them at retail price! No problem. I told him that I'd come back if I wanted it.I'm at the front desk to pick up my mower. After the work was completed I looked at the bill - $56.13. No problem with the bill except I was charged $4.00 for gas & oil. It would have been ok but the oil was low and the gas was almost empty. I asked a manager if they topped off the fluids. He looked at the oil and after several attempts of repeatedly checking the stick, concluded that it was a little low. He looked at the gas and stated that it was half full. I'm not sure what he was looking at but the gas was not even 1/4 tank. He then put some oil in the case. After putting the oil in, he didn't bother to check the stick again. He didn't apologize or even acknowledge that it was a mistake on his teams parts. If I'm charged for something, I should receive the product. Even if the gas tank weren't filled and he stated that the store only fills the tank half full, to look at the tank and then state that it was half full when I clearly see that it's no where near half full makes me know that there is a problem with me or with him.I've had no problems with the store up until this transaction. Had this been one of their younger employees I probably would have just asked to speak to someone else and more than likely wouldn't have written this review as I'd have expected my issue to be resolved. Since this was an older member of the family business, it lets me know exactly what type of customer service is being modeled. It's disappointing that some businesses do not understand the value of customer service. I've spent over $700.00 within the past year. My money spends just as well at other facilities.
