We were so thankful for the help Dave and Harrys locksmiths provided. We were locked out of our house by accident and they came to the rescue. Within 15 minutes they appeared and even fixed our door to make it close better. We were pleased with their promptness, professionalism and overall willingness to help. We would recommend them without hesitation.

Absolutely fantastic service, we will always use Dave & Harry Locksmiths. My sister and I managed to inadvertently lock ourselves out of our new house the day we bought it, in the rain. The call center sent a locksmith, Elmer, out within minutes. He called us on the way over and told us what to expect, including the very reasonable service charge. He was very nice, very professional, and extremely skilled. He spent more than an hour trying to gain access, and ultimately had to drill through the lock. He had a new cylinder with him so he was able to replace ours on the spot, with two fresh keys, and leave us with a perfectly functioning lock. He exhausted every possibility before having to resort to drilling, and we were so grateful. He even gave us advice on how to prevent this from happening again. Elmer was knowledgeable, clean, kind, and our absolute savior!!

I had a great experience at Dave and Harrys getting some keys copied. The real excellence in customer service happened afterwards, however- I misplaced my wallet shortly after visiting them. When I went in to see if I had left it there they not only did a thorough search of the behind the counter area to make sure it wasnt there, but checked the cameras once the owner was in and gave me a call letting me know that I hadnt left it there. I dont leave reviews often, but this kind of care and attention to detail beyond regular customer service deserves recognition. (Good news- I found my wallet!)

I have called Dave & Harry's twice now in some real pickles. Their dispatcher is always attentive and understanding. Not only that, they understood when I had a crucial meeting and helped their locksmith rearrange to enable me to be prompt. I can't say enough good about this company and their employees!!!! :)

Great service! They diagnosed my problem and fixed it, in the rain. I had an issue with my bike lock on a car roof rack. I called ahead and was told to bring it by for them to take a look. After a couple employees looked at the issue, they were able to resolve it at a very reasonable price, all while getting progressively wetter.

Had an emergency that required a locksmith, and their guy was VERY PROMPT. This was the only company out of 10 that I called on a Sunday evening that was willing to come out and fix my issue. Not only did he come within 15 minutes of my call, he fixed my issue in less than 2 minutes, and then ON TOP of that fixed another lock that was broken free of charge. This is the best experience I've had with any service company, ever. Highly recommend Dave and Harry Locksmiths, they are fast, experienced, friendly, and have earned my business for life. If you're looking for a locksmith in the Champaign area, they are the way to go.

I accidentally locked myself out of my home on a Sunday and my one-year-old was still in his playpen alone. My family was out of town and I had no extra keys or any way to get back in. I called Dave & Harry's and they were out at my house within 30 minutes. They didn't even charge me since it was an emergency and my child was stuck inside. They were very kind I am so thankful for their service. Highly recommend them and would absolutely use them again.

Best. Locksmith. Ever. Cynthia created a key for me that did not even exist so I could get into the trunk of my convertible (which my car keys were in). This was very difficult as my convertible does not actually have a trunk keyhole and has to be manually opened with a key from inside or with a FAB. Cynthia created this key when all the other locksmiths turned me down and told me to wait until Monday. She went above and beyond. Thank you, Cynthia!

I walked in over lunch and was helped right away. I carried in two transponder keys for my truck and was first asked if I had two original keys to program the new ones. So, they really knew what they were talking about. I went to Menards and Rural King before and both told me they couldn't help me. I went to the Ford dealer who wanted to charge me $120+ for ONE key and said it would take an hour to program. Huge rip-off! I decided I had better go to a professional than someone who was not as well trained for something so important. I tested both keys and they worked great. It took less than a minute to program.

Called on a Saturday afternoon, locked out of my house, and was immediately greeted by someone who took down my name and number for the on call person. Received a call quickly after that from the nice gentleman who said he was finishing up another job and would be right over. Lickity split he showed up and was able to get us in. Our facility received awesome service from Tri Color, however as soon as they were purchased by Dave and Harry we noticed a decline and have since found a new locksmith. I made an apt with Dave and Harry on a Monday, set to have service done on Wed. Rather than having a locksmith at our facility on Wed. I received a call from Dave and Harry stating they require me to come by their shop. I provided all details to the secretary on Monday and was told they would be out to do the work on Wednesday. It seems they are not communicating well and are not concerned with showing up on time. Dave and Harry locksmith does not offer the same customer service and has no record of the previous work and was not able to service our needs without requiring a special trip to their building. The previous company (prior to being bought out by Dave and Harry) as well as my new locksmith were both able to accomodate my needs in a timely fashion without the run around. I suggest looking elsewhere if you're in a commercial setting needing locks repaired or keyed.

Got my car key stuck in the ignition. They took it out within 90min and got me a new key. Not inexpensive though. 80 dollars an hour plus key decoding and duplication fee. Its much higher than I expected, based off of my online research. But they were friendly and seemed to be professional.

Me and my co worker work in a hotel she called an hour and a half ago waiting for these people to come out to get someone out of there room. the lady over the phone lie to my co worker and I about calling to notify us that they are unable to help. how the hell do you call yourself locksmiths if you are unable to unlock a freaking hotel card reader door.
