Doug and his staff went above and beyond to get my car back on the road! After hours of working on a particularly difficult situation with my missing VW ignition key most locksmiths would have thrown in the towel, not Doug. I live 2 hours away and had no way to get home without my car. Doug drove me to a motel in town and jumped right back on the job first thing the next morning. Happy to report that his tenacity and dedication to his craft resulted in a complete solution. I cannot recommend Doug's Lock and Key any more highly. I had only one key for a truck I just bought and needed another one programmed, I took my old key in and Tim cleared both the new one and old key and programmed one as an admin. key and all works great. Cheaper than going to dealer and only took about 20 Min. I would recommend them.DLB.

What an awesome experience!! We got locked out of a room at our office and the old keys we had just were not working well. They got the door open in about 45 seconds and then they decoded and re-cut keys to fit everything in our office right out of their van. As an added bonus it only took them about 40 minutes to get here after I called.

Doug helped me out in an emergency needed and was able to make keys for my car without a original key. Doug helped me do it on the best price all while providing quick speedy service. As a previous key maker I was surprised how fast he was able to program the keys to my car as well. He even hoped that I found my keys prior to the service. There's a lot of people in this business that make this service a living hell and there's only a few like Doug that are as nice, well priced, and really good at what they do. 10/10 will be more than happy to let Doug service me again

I'm sure what this 'Tim' guy is talking?? My experience with Doug's Lock and Key was amazing!! I lost one of my keys to my Voltswagon Jetta keys and because it was a chipped one the dealership wanted to charge me hundreds of dollars to replace the thing. (Ohhh nooo) Thankfully, I thought to check in with Doug's Lock and Key before comitting to this expense. Not only was Doug a delight to work with, (pleasant demonor, knowledgable of the products), they were also able to compelte the job for more than half the cost!!! So impressed by this company -- if you need a key replaced this is the place to go.
