Highly recommend!!!We had a break-in on Saturday night and decided to change the locks right then. Mr. Locksmith was willing to be at our house after 9:00 pm on a Saturday to change all of our door locks. He was very knowledgeable and professional and did a great job of explaining what our options were as far as replacement of the cheap locks that we had. We ended up buying 6 locks from him which he installed and then he fixed one of the existing ones for free. He didn't even charge an extra fee for showing up on a late Saturday night (which another lock company had asked for). Also he guarantees the locks for 3 years. Will definitely call him the next time I lock myself out of my car or house.Thanks again Mr. Locksmith! We hope you made it out of our place in time to meet up with your wife! Tell her we're really happy you were able to come. it gave us peace of mind!

Leo is a consummate professional rolled into an extraordinarily decent human being, I just bought my house in silver spring and needed the locks changed and a deadbolt added. I also wanted all the locks plus lock on a sliding door included on the same key. I spoke with Leo and after a few minutes of attempting to describe the locks we decided that sending him pictures would be the best way for him to make an accurate estimate. In less than 2 hours Leo emailed back an estimate with a detailed explanation of the possible fluctuations.He quoted a great price that was 15% percent lower than my previous locksmith guy.Leo also works on the premise that advice and information comes with the service. He is very helpful and exceptionally knowledgeable. Fantastic service, a pleasure to work with, will call him again and recommend to friends.

I give this company 5 stars and here's why: I called to have a second locks placed on my door about 2 weeks ago. The person (Leo) I spoke to have me an appointment for Monday afternoon. Promptly Monday I got a call from the locksmith Ron telling me his ETA. When he came the job was done perfectly. He gave me a warranty of 90 days on receipt for labor and mentioned that their is a manufacturer warranty for parts as well. I paid and he was on his way. Good friendly and professional service.

The owner Leo was super sweet and offered to change my commercial lock cylinders early this afternoon before I had to be at a meeting. He was on time, and very efficient. After he was done, he called back to say that since I had mentioned finding him on Yelp I was to receive a 10% discount, so I could subtract that from the receipt he had given me. He really went above and beyond - service like that is so rare to find these days, especially in this area . I cannot recommend this locksmith service enough!!!

I have encountered several locksmiths that operate with questionable ethical standards in silver spring area. They largely prey on desperate people who manage to lock themselves out of their apartments and will pay just about anything for an 'emergency' locksmith to get them out of a jam. In fact there are probably a dozen of them called 'A1 Locksmith' or even 'AA Locksmith' hoping to be the first entry in the phone book.Mr. Locksmith is an entirely different kind of operation. I have dealt with them on a couple of occasions now, and I have come away quite impressed. Leo, who I presume is the owner / manager as he always answers the phone, is an honest, straightforward guy. I called him last week because the lock on our building's front door wasn't holding. I explained that I didn't really want to pay much to fix it because we have brand new doors on order that will be arriving in a few weeks, and the new doors come with new locks. So, whatever I paid to fix the short-term problem would be money wasted in the long run.He said not to worry and he offered to send a guy (Ron) to my building the next day, free of charge, to assess the situation. He said if I didn't want to pay for any work, that was fine, but he would at least outline a few options. In fact he did, and ultimately recommended that we replace the broken lock with a new one. he suggested we by a cheap version that would last several months until the new doors arrived but not necessarily much beyond that. Including installation, he priced the whole job at $225, which seemed perfectly reasonable to me. Great, honest work from a good local locksmith is worth 5 stars every day of the week. Thanks, Leo!

Ron was excellent. Our deadbolt lock stopped working and Ron tried numerous way to try and get it functional again. When that wasnt possible he replace the lock and now our house is secure again. The entire process was difficult because the lock was so old and it was originally installed in an odd way, but he figured it out. I would use him again.

Needed to get my locks changed at my new silver Spring house, so after I did some google and yelp research I got into contact with Leo from mr locksmith and worked out a schedule. He showed up on time and went straight to work. I had bought my own locks, but we found out the knob wasnt a right fit and the bolt lock Wes Low security He shows me the dead bolt locks and the high security locks he Carrie In the locksmith van. Leo worked his magic and bam! New sets of very strong and secure locks installed and ready to protect my house.Leo engaged me in friendly conversation the whole time he worked. You can tell he is a real patient, amicable, and honest guy. It really just felt like one of my family members stopped by to help me out. I think thats very important when you hire someone to handle something crucial to your and/or your belongings' security, because it all starts with the lock when you think about it.I would highly recommend Leo and mr locksmith to anyone that needs good locksmith services.
