It had happened to me, just like it will (or has) happen to every homeowner. I had locked myself out of my house. I had to get to work, so I couldn't stick around, but during my lunch break, I tried calling a different locksmith, and it sent me to an automated voice messaging system and told me (twice) that there was no available locksmiths in my zip code and said 'Goodbye' and hanged up. Well that didn't help me any, so I called this place, a real person answered the phone and was able to set up an appointment for a locksmith to come out when I got home. Right on the dot, the locksmith (whose name was Bill) was there at 3:00. He got right to work, although the lock was a tough one, Bill was able to get it unlocked after using a little bit of elbow grease. No damage was done to the doors or the locks. Bill was very professional and prompt. The pricing was very reasonable and I was happy to oblige. If I need any locksmiths or key services, this is the place I'm going to, it's local and locally owned.

I have used A-Z Key shop for years. Today, I had an experience that is making me look for another locksmith NOW.They have raised their service call rate from $50 - $65, which I understand. They also raised the rate of their extra lock to be drilled from $10 - $25, which I could also handle. Today, they came out and I had 2 locks to be drilled. The first lock drill is included in the service call (every other time that is). Today, he came in and said he broke a lot of drill bits and is 'cheating' me this time and charging me for each lock separately. So because the drill bit broke on my lock after being used on several other locks. They never tell you of the increase, they just slap a bill on the counter and say 'sorry'. This place KNOWS that they are about the only pop stand in town for this and they are now taking advantage. I understand the rate increases over the years, but they should tell you first and they shouldn't change their policy at a whim because they decided to 'cheat' me that day. WHO TELLS THEIR CUSTOMERS THAT???

They have just about any key you might need. They can create keys from manufacturer codes. For example, is you lost your Suzuki motorcycle key, you can get the code from the manufacturer and they will make your key. They even made a tao tao moped key today. I'd you need a key for a padlock bring the lock with you. Awesome museum in here too. Lots of ww2 and old key making displays.

Where to start. Called to get a key made for my truck that I lost both sets for and had none. A to Z told me the price I made a appointment for there next available Monday 2:00 it was Friday at around 10 in the morning. But ok so Monday came I called to make sure I was on schedule it was 1:30 was told yep all is on schedule. So I waited 4:00 rolled around call back A to Z I was told the double booked my time slot and if I want I would need to reschedule my appointment for the next available it was Wednesday mind you I already waited 3 days and had a appointment for Monday. But he did give me another lock smith to try in Kalamazoo J &J locksmith. I got right off the phone and called them it was 4:30 so they where closing but told me what I needed and help me first thing in the morning J&J had me Keys for my Truck by 11:30. As for A to Z I will drive to Kalamazoo for now on even though they are only about a half mile from my house. Go to J&J locksmith!!!!

Worst place to go if you need help. We set a appointment at 3:30pm and they came 3 hrs late. We called multiple times and they were rude and blew us off every time we asked when the locksmith would be at our place. NOT PUNCTUAL NOT RESPECTFUL NOT PROFESSIONAL. The only help was the lock smith and he was polite and fast and to the point.
