Wow! Super impressed! We thought we were going to have to have an entire door handle replaced a we were locked out of our outside unit. Turns out the door just shrank as it got cold and that caused stiffness in the lock. The locksmith came out and in less than 30 seconds had it open, explained why it happened and had the door open. Then when I asked what I owed him it was no charge! So hard to find this level of service anymore, I will ALWAYS use this locksmith now!!

This is a small business that did me a big favor last week. My dad is getting up there in years and locked himself out of the house. I was at a job site three hours away so I called, explained that my dad is an elderly veteran living alone since his wife died, and asked if they could send someone for emergency service to get him back in safely before it got too hot. Ben rearranged other calls and rushed over, let my dad back in, made sure he was okay before he left. He didn't charge him. It's great to see a business that cares about the elderly and veterans. Thanks, Ben!

Best locksmith in the state!! Ben was so quick to fix my padlock and didnt even charge me for labor - just for the part he used! Hes also run an emergency call for me when I was locked out of my home late at night a few years ago. Always friendly and professional! Ive used a few other locksmiths in Flint like locksmith Call4Keys and they always find a way to charge you more than what you were quoted (telling you that they have to charge to use certain tools, etc.). To me, that is such a dishonest way of doing business. If youre like me and you want to give your business to a family that is old-school, that isnt trying to trick you into spending way more than you should and that runs their business with integrity, you should visit TML Lock. I think its safe to say from here on out I will be a lifetime customer for all my lock and safe needs.P.S. I felt the need to leave a review after seeing one or two short reviews claiming that Ben and Julie werent friendly or were rude. To those people I ask, are you sure you werent the ones being rude? Because based on my experience and the experience of every other person leaving google reviews here, Julie and Ben are some of the nicest people youll ever meet. Id be willing to bet it was those few customers leaving negative reviews who were not friendly. Just my two cents.

I would give this business higher than a 5 star rating. Today I contacted them reference a 89 year old WWII veteran who locked himself out of his house in Lapeer. As the I called TML because another local company was not available and this was the next closest, it was unknown how long this gentleman had been outside he was cold, wet and also had his dog with him. TML owner arrived on scene, drove from Miller Rd. In Flint to Columbiaville, had the door opened for this gentleman within a minute and did not charge him. This is a small, family-owned business with incredible people. The staff in the building are lovely and conversational, and the waiting area is very home-y. I felt valued as soon as I walked through the door, and their locksmith was impeccably polite. He finished my re-key within ten minutes and even saved me some money when he explained that he could still fix my lock instead of completely replacing it. Would recommend this business to any and everyone.
