A few weeks ago, while on my way home from Grand Rapids to Lansing, one of the ball-joints on my car came apart while on the freeway. I called GVT and they were there in minutes, and got me hooked up and taken back to Lansing at a very reasonable rate. I highly recommend this company if you're in the area.Also, 10/10 for JimmyLee, my driver. He was great!

They have earned my trust many times over. Scott, Steve and Seth will make sure they treat your tow as if it were their own Ferrari (if they had one). They will tow those as well. I have seen it. When I need them, they are there. My family trusts no one else.

When I was in an accident with my classic car, the second call I made was to Grand Valley towing. I've dealt with them in the past for more minor things and I knew I could trust them to take care of my baby. They showed up quick and took care of everything. Even let me stop in and check over the car while the insurance company was doing it's thing. Obviously I hope I don't have to go through this again but their number is saved in my phone in case I do. I managed to lock my keys in the car while we were out and about for a fun day and we weren't exactly sure who to call. I found them online in my area and they sent someone right out. It literally took less than 10mins for them to show up and about 30 seconds to get my car unlocked. I was so thankful because I thought the day was ruined and I'd be waiting at least an hour, but they far exceeded my expectations!

The company sent a driver with a flatbed truck out to move my box truck. It took approximately 3 hours to show up. Once out here, the driver told me a different type of tow truck would be needed and that he would have his company send one out. I watched him make a call, and then he told me that another truck would be out shortly. He then left. Two hours later, I was still waiting for the second tow truck. I called the company to ask for a time frame, and was told that they never intended to send someone else out, and the driver had known that before he left. It's one thing if he did not want or was not able to compete his job, but completely unprofessional - and unnecessary - to lie about another truck coming. I've been waiting for hours!!!!

Very unprofessional. Would not recommend.Update: I was contacted by the company following my review and they apologized for the incident. As I am informed they have let go of the rude dispatcher who talked with us.Update on update: the person who contacted us and apologized is a liar and is actually the one we talked to originally. And also it was super creepy becuase he tracked down my review on google and contacted me on facebook! Creepy and weird.

was talking with dispatcher for this company and and asked 'what does your insurance cover if you guys don't do something right' he replied with 'to be honest we don't deal with people like you, find another f-ing tow service'This is was first tow ever and I'm not sure how this works, kinda leaves you skeptical leaving your whole vehicle to Somone you don't know, it could be their first tow alone and they forget to fasten down the strap and throws my vehicle off the bed to because you have some hole in the wall tow service with a bunch of rookies. Car is already broke down. Give Merls towing service a call, they handled my call and questions professionally and got my vehicle to whet it needed to go.

Their driver completely cut me off and almost side swiped my car to force himself in front of me. After in front of my car, their tow truck blew a ton of black smoke/exhaust out of his car onto mine for about 50 yards. When I passed the truck, both the driver and his passenger gave me a dirty look. I had both my kids in the car. I called the office and complained to the man on phone who had little to no concern about this. He even asked me if I wanted the driver to call me.

This morning the guy Seth was awesome. I called for the same towing company to come and tow my car home during the evening. I spoke with my Gold AAA insurance towing card representative as well as the driver and explained that because of him being 2 hours away to the point that I could not get a loner car from the car dealership as they were going to be closed by the time he would get here that I would need to be towed to Fennville. Keep in mind I am an AAA GOLD MEMBER! Seth agreed over the phone to take me home and I told him that I had my insurance adjust the service call to Fennville. Seth said he would be here around 6:15pm. AAA actually called me to see if I made it home around 7pm. I told them NO, I was still waiting for Grandvalley Towing since my service was so great the first time. The customer service agent called Grandvalley towing to find out what had happened as I was still waiting outside with the heat index being past 90 degrees in a parking lot. When my insurance contracted me back they said that Grandvalley towing could not take me home! Mind you I called Grandvalley Towing myself and told them what the arrangement was and he (Seth) didn't have the courtesy to tell me that he couldn't do it! Meanwhile, I am a woman sitting in 90 degree weather with my water almost gone and on her period waiting for someone that she depended on to get her home to safety! I have already talked with my insurance company about this behavior and have asked that they cancel their contract with this provider. I will continue to call until this is completed. I depended on someone and a service to help me when my disabled parents cannot come and help me. My parents cannot walk and they depend on me to be home safely so I can care for them. I will not stop making complaints about Grandvalley Towing until AAA kicks them out. This is too much! It is 8pm. And he was supposed to be here at 6:15pm! No stars.! Bottomline...even though he was going to be late for me to get a loaner car...I still waited for him as he had been so helpful this morning and now? It is 830pm and I am still in the parking lot waiting. AAA escalated the situation as it is beginning to get dark and the safety of the location I am in is not good. Seth, I hope you are reading this! I trusted you in good faith and wanted you to come and help me...and you treat a customer this way...in the 90 degree heat? All you had to say is that you couldn't do it instead of when I called you back you hem hawked around and lied to me when my insurance company had called me to ask if I was ok!
