I went to the shop to get a mailbox key and a spare key for my Ford Taurus. I learned that Fords are the most difficult to program but the gentleman didnt give up. I didnt mind the wait at all because I had Mr to keep me company. Id dare to say that dog keeps the business going :). Im trying to think of another key I need made so I can go back to visit him!

I had a key made for my car that I ordered online. The guy was very friendly he had his dog in the shop with him, the dog was also friendly. The only complaint I have was I had to call ahead since he was the only one working because of covid-19 and he also had to do service calls.

The customer service of The Key Shop was very poor. I called to request a service and the employee on the phone was very short with me and rude. I didnt hear him at one point, and asked him to repeat, and he very condescending and in extremely rude tone spelled it out as if I was a 5 year old. I am not one to normally post reviews online, but I am hoping the manager sees this and conducts some customer service training with the employees.

I have a 2008 Ford Taurus which requires a special transponder key. The Ford dealership gave me a price of $45 and an appointment for two days later. When I arrived, the price turned into $82. Mad at Ford, I left and drove to the Key Shop, willing to pay whatever it cost rather than give my money to the dealership.In less than 15 minutes I was driving away with my new, working, OEM transponder key. For $38. Excellent service, knowledgeable enough to find a work-around and avoid expensive programming... All good!
