Got 1 key programmed and a new key with key fob for $105. Needed programmed to start 2004 f150. Could of done yesterday but showed up today cause I thought for sure I could find my keys! Will definitely recommend!

My business recently sustained a break in, and I to the point where I barely was able to get the lock off of the door. I then went in to this shop the that day, with lock in hand and in pieces. I was sure there wasnt much that could be done to help the lock I had, and Dollar signs kept flashing before my eyes. To my amazement this locksmith not only repaired my commercial lock for my business they recommended a couple of simple inexpensive upgrades to it to make it more secure, all of which they showed me could easily be done. I did not know they offered mobile lock service till I went in and they offered that and said they could do it that day. Since it was going into the weekend I went for it and they came through with flying colors. They returned my security peace of mind and I will always recommend them.

WORST SERVICES WE'VE EVER HAD! We will NEVER use this company EVER again! Guy in the office does NOT know how to conduct business with respect nor are they an honest business. Then guy who came out to do unlock job was rude as well! He thought he was going to argue with us stating we locked the deadbolt! Um dummy you can't lock the deadbolt WITHOUT a key and we had just stepped outside WITHOUT keys!!!! WILL NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!

Sadly, this was a very discouraging and somewhat intimidating business experience. The owner/father is abrasive and, today, pointed outside and challenged me to a 'it's about to get personal,' encounter. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and local authorities. He quoted me $20 less than his wife and son expected to charge me in the shop. I very kindly asked if I could step out and call him. While I did this, they began cutting my key and then insisted I pay a higher price for it. They discouraged me from ever calling him & stepped to the back room to call him multiple times. He suddenly showed up at the shop, chest puffed-out and teeth clinched. He re-figured our original agreement a 3rd time. They are quite harsh, difficult to understand professional jargon and communicate in condescending, disrespectful disposition. We are a friendly and trusting, relatively small community, and they come from a big town where business is just handled differently and much more impersonal and aggressive. I hope they will recognize the people they are serving in Christian County are typically kind and family-oriented. They do not need to operate like a New York or Los Angeles business. We moved here 20 years ago to get away from people like this.

Believe the negative reviews. Called first and was told rudely I could wait if they weren't too busy. Took in a lock to be re-keyed. Was told again in a rude arrogant fashion it couldn't be repaired and I would need to buy a new one instead. Okay. Asked to see the lock he wanted to sell me. It bothered him that I wanted to see what I was buying. He then loudly told me I'd have to leave and come back later, even though there was only one customer there besides me. He handed me my old lock and pointed me to the door. Never had such rude and condescending treatment by a store owner in my life. Beware.p.s. I went to another locksmith that fixed my lock and re-keyed it in just a few minutes. Wish I had never wasted my time with Five Star.

Key wasnt being recognized after changing my actuator pin and called yesterday, talked to a nicer guy that said it would be better to call today since they werent going to be open much longer (guessing so we didnt have to pay an after hours fee which was good he said something). Called today and got information, missed the ring that goes around the ignition so that fixed it without having to pay for something that wouldnt have fixed it which is awesome. Thanks the information.With that being said, why Im giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the guys attitude that we talked to today. Yes, you gave me good information but didnt have to treat me like an idiot. Im a mechanic that deals with mechanical parts not a locksmith, hence why you were contacted. So super happy about getting the correct information, not so happy about how you treat military war veterans just looking for information

The woman who works in the store is incredibly nice. She made two keys for my van and they work perfectly. The man who usually runs the locksmith side is a bit surly. I was attempting to explain that my van came with a set of keys from the dealer with a remote entry. He insisted that was impossible because a book of his said so and of course I had lost my keys so I couldn't prove it at the moment. He seemed very frustrated when I asked if there was a solution, and then told me that he could rig one of the other remotes (that wasn't a perfect fit for my van) to work for his car, but not a paying customer. I wasn't asking him to do that, I just wanted to know if I could give them my business in any way instead of going to the dealership. I'm not sure why he was so frustrated. Anyway, I am going to just go to the dealer now. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but if you go in, try to get the lady to help you.

Asked a simple question, he miss understood and attempted to make me feel inferior to him, as I corrected the misunderstanding, he dismissed giving me the information and suggested he call the owner. What he did not ask was who would be paying for his service. That would have been myself if he was not so rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend.

We were notified first thing this morning from the authorities that an eviction would take place at one of our properties at 2:00 today. We immediately started calling to line up a locksmith to meet us and the sheriffs department at the property. When 5 star was contacted they were very rude and argumentative. When we asked if they would be able to squeeze us into their busy schedule, we were told that we had plenty of time to have lined this up. They said they had managed 30 properties at one time and it didnt need to be arranged at the last minute. We contacted Harper Lock and Key and explained the situation and they were able to accommodate us without a lecture. We have been professional real estate investors and property managers for over 12 years and we dont need to start our day off with a locksmith arguing with us about how to run our business.

The gentleman at this store was pretentious and unprofessional. He said he couldnt get the key I needed them I immediately went to another shop and got the key I needed. Pretty horrible experience in general.

This place did not open until 1000 on the dot Sat morning. One other customer besides myself waited outside the door, while the owner sat inside and watched on. He did not unlock until 1000 am, no sooner. Was greeted with a 'the help isn't here yet.' and I asked to when the Locksmith would be available. He responded 'I am the Locksmith, what do you need.' I said, 'needing some keys cut and fobs programmed', where I was met with more adversity about how hard this would be too do and how costly it might be. I told him I had done my research and I had an offer from another local shop but wanted to keep my business here in Nixa. He asked specifically what kind of deal I had been offered and when I told him he waved me off and said 'see ya'. I guess being a locksmith in a small town must not need, word of mouth advertising. I was trying to bring the local business some business but not with the way I was greeted on this Sat am. I am sorry this is in opposition to the 6 other reviews, but I did not find this business to be helpful at all.

Stared at me like I was an idiot the moment I stepped through the door when I inquired about a key that we had prepaid for to be copied (which they couldn't copy) saying 'Key? What Key?' Repeatedly. Like asking a locksmith about a key is a ridiculous idea. His attitude only went downhill from there and when I asked if he was an employee or the owner he said there were no owners there (pretty sure he was the owner... but I thought if he was employed the owner should hear about his behavior) and proceeded to laugh at me as I exited the shop. Not sure what I did to be treated in such a manner but he went WAY passed being unprofessional.

This service guy was very unprofessional, disrespectful and rude. Looked like he carried his wife and family with him to the job. Which is very unprofessional. All they could do was gripe about the windows being too dark. He was finally told to leave, with vehicle still locked. A call was made to St. John's lock sevice in Nixa. They was there in 20 minutes and had it on lock. Extremely processional, kind and Polite
