Our car key was no longer working properly. Art and Ray's removed the ignition, cleaned it, and made us a new key. The final cost was half of what it would have been to have the ignition replaced, and it works perfectly now.

Great service! I called and they were able to come out next day when I could be home. Very respectful, helpful, and worked fast. The guy was even nice enough to tolerate my cat's demands for pets while he worked. The pricing was fair and made sense on their form. They were even nice enough to explain to me why the door knob so hard to take apart, how the mechanism worked, why it was sticking, and other components. I have their number saved in my phone for future use! Would recommend. However, if you don't expect them to charge you for their time to travel, ask the price beforehand. I didn't and it was about what I expected to pay so no surprise there.

Lost my keys in the lake. My fault. I live 50 miles from Missoula but 600 bucks for a couple truck keys. Really...c'mon man. A fee of 60$ for the first 5 miles then 5 dollars a mile after that. Wow no beuno

I'll be 100% honest. I have no clue how these guys have positive reviews. I was on my way home from work on a Sunday and I accidentally locked my keys in my truck while getting food at Walmart to cook for dinner. I gave these guys a call and they arrived on the scene in about 5 to 10 minutes. Quick enough. The guy got out of his vehicle and grabbed a tool. It took him MAYBE 10 seconds to unlock the truck. He then decided to charge me $90 for the 15 minutes it took him to get the job done from leaving his house to opening my door. They are crooks and I will never use or recommend their service again. Unbelievable that someone would take advantage of someone in this situation.

Art and Ray's has been the gold standard in Missoula. Under it's new ownership I'm afraid they are not as good as they used to be. I had an unfriendly/shoddy craftmanship experience here recently. Unapologetically, I had to make multiple trip because they didn't double check their work and misquoted pricing on in stock items that were 20% higher than i was told. I sent an email to whom I suspect is the owner expressing my displeasure. The reason for this honest review is I never heard back. I'm gonna take my business somewhere else. No need to email me back now!

I dont like to give bad reviews so Ill say this. Call and make an appointment otherwise they may not have time for you. Not to say they cant to their job but one employee basically said to us I just dont have time for you today. Buyer beware and be prepared.
