BEST TOWING COMPANY AROUND! Hands down the best company Ive ever dealt with. They got out to me right away, towed me over an hour! And for a great price! I couldnt have gotten luckier with these guys! Mathew and Grant are the nicest guys! And funny conversationists! You wont be disappointed!

My vehicle was impounded by the police and This towing company towed it. 2 days later I went to pick up my vehicle and now it doesnt want to turn on. I never had a problem with my vehicle before. I called them and they told me that theyre not mechanics so they cant tell me what is wrong with it. Apparently they are not responsible for the vehicles that they damage. Hows it possible that an operable vehicle that I use everyday breaks down after being towed? Now I have to pay a towing company (Absolutely not them) to take my vehicle to the mechanic.

Very friendly and easy to work with. My 6 ton truck hauling a 5 ton cargo trailer broke down on the interstate in a precarious and easily dangerous position for towing. The tow company dispatched two trucks to haul each vehicle away. They were well organized, on time, extremely experienced and made it look easy. If I need a tow company in Grand Island again, there is no hesitation that I will use Island Towing. Thanks to them everything is safely back home.

Island towings truck was on scene outside of gr island during a snow storm but wouldn't pull the other truck out of the ditch which then left myself stuck in the middle of the road for 12 hrs til a good sumaratian went out of his way to help us out. Us being stuck in the middle of the road caused other travelers trying to get past to also get stuck.

A third party vendor for road side assistance provided Island with the wrong address. After attempting to blame us, the customer, Scott and his company spent 3 hours advocating on our behalf to cover the extended cost due to their error. Any time I need a tow, or friends look for recommendations, I will send them to Island every time. Being treated like a family member, rather than a customer, is worth not having to shop around. Thank you!

The experience with this company was HORRIBLE! My insurance company referred me over to them (did not have road side assistance ). I called to have a tire changed. It took 20 minutes and they arrived, this was the only thing I was pleased with. However, they put a hold on my credit card for $50 which I've had to call about twice. Once they changed the tire which cost $175 for a tire change, I went about a mile to get a new tire and found out they lost the lock bolt which I need to take off all the tires. Called them they said it was put in the trunk with the rest of the items (which were the Only items in the trunk). The women answering phones was beyond rude and could careless. She actually said 'drive to our company and the guy will show you where he put it' the most ignorant thing that could of been said! I have already as of now paid $225 for a tire change and was in Lincoln. I really want to spend more time and money, they need to come to me and show me where it is! Horrible experience!! I wouldn't recommend this company to a single person!!

I manage two motels in Grand Island, when people abandon cars on the lots, which happens pretty frequent, Island towing is the only one we call. Staff very pleasant and easy to work with. Thanks guys for everything!

If i could give this place NO stars i would. Completely disrespectful, took the bumper off the vehicle being towed, and now is not willing to pay to replace it! Owner is rude and her brother is full of it and don't know how to tow a vehicle! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Yesterday I made a bad review against this TOWING company after reading my review this TOWING Company called my home in Texas and threatened me that if I didn't remove the post they would hold my father truck even with a release until the review was taken down being the smarter and better person I took the review down until my father got his truck back and was out of their town. I will now put back my review. The people of this company are bullies and liars. Here is the story they reposse my dad truck he was at a truck in Grand Island NE working on his flat bed trailer trying to fix the lights on his trailer they walked up asked him if was so and so and he said he was they told him they were there to repossess the truck he told them he needed to get in his truck to make a call they in the meanwhile made their own call to the state troopers telling the troopers he made a threat with a hammer against them 4 cars of troopers showed up at this truck stop. Little about my dad he is 5ft 6 in tall and 74 yrs old snd there 4 or more people from towing company surrounding him and dont forget the hammer was already in his hands. Well the troopers took statements from witnesses and the statements prove there was never a threat with a hammer so in My opinion this is a false accusations from ISLAND TOWING. As far as the woman who called me personally and threatened my dad for something I wrote maybe you need to go back to school to learn some manners you were rude wouldn't let me talk to ask a question and then hung up on me. You need to learn there is a thing called freedom of expression and speech. I will be sending the recording I made today where you admit that you will hold his truck even of the bill was paid an you had release papers in your hand just because you want that my friend is where you get in trouble if have no legal right to hold anything just because you don't like the review. We had our vehicle towed from an impound tow from a private lot right in here in Grand Island. The cost of tow was 150.00 just for maybe 3 miles. Plus administration fees. Plus taxes which have to be charged. And then the storage charges started immediately upon entering the lot. Way over charged company with the no people skills! I would stay as far away from them as possible!

My insurance company chose these guys to tow my non working car to my mechanic. My agent told me they would call when they got to the car and then tow it to the mechanic. They did not call and they towed it to the wrong place. They are not completely to blame, as I did not talk to them directly. However that being said, they should have called me when they reached my car or when they were on the way to my car, to make sure they had the right instructions.

FredIf you park in a spot with signs that indicate that it's private property and that your vehicle will be towed, you can expect to be towed. Late calls and calls that require immediate response and / or risk do command a higher price and parking in front of a tow away zone.............well, let's just call that one 'stupid tax'. I've paid my fair share of stupid tax, and then some. Just never for parking in a tow away zone.Sorry, dude.
