Had two lock cylinder that needed to be rekeyed. I did removed the cylinders from the locks and had both keys, old key and new key each of the cylinder. The lock smith rekeyed both cylinders in no time and he did it for a very fair price. Excellent quick service from Byer's Lock Shop.

Worst customer service ever!! Thus man told us for two days he was going to make a key for our van. Went so far to tell us he was at our van making the key. Then NEVER called is back. I called another locksmith. Job was done in 15 minutes. Byer told us it would take hours. My husband lost 2 days of work because of him! !

We love Byer Lock Shop. We have had them to our house 2 or 3 times and they have changes locked, helped us with multiple keys and we like them. Mount Holly is a small town, if you want fluff previous customer go to Cherry Hill. We have been very satisfied. Honest feedback from true customer - we also east at Kitchen 87 too!!!

They are the absolute worst lock smith I've ever came in contact with. The worst customer service by all staff members. They told me they could make the key I needed for a candy machine. He told my husband he could do it just Drop the key to them. he did that at 445pm and called them the next day he said he didnt even know it was in his drop slot. He said he could do it give him a bit. He called 20 mins later saying he couldnt picked that lock but to bring the machine to him and he will try one of the other 3.did that he said give him 20 mins. Waited there 30 mins, said he needed to call the manufacturing company to give them the number on the lock to get the code or something but could take awhile. He told us to go do what we need to do and he will call us but said sometimes they don't get back to me right away. So we went home and 430 came no call so my husband called them again and he got real ignorant with him. So we went up there and when we got there John wasn't around but his brother said he can't do anything with it, well john said he can do it but didn't want to do it, so as we were leaving the brother started to get ignorant because my husband said if he couldn't do it fine call and say so. my husband told him we r well known in the area and have family in the area with businesses and when we told him the business name, the guy began to insult our family's business. Basically threw us out of the store by saying I'll get the door for you, to get the machines out of here. Very very very POOR service. WOULD NOT recommend to anyone. Byers Lock Shop is by far the WORST!!!!!

I called Friday at approximately 4:30pm to get some assistance to my car and the owner said he can come at 12:30pm Saturday. I had the phone on speaker so my lady heard the whole conversation. The next day I waited till about 1:00pm and I received a phone call from the locksmith asking if I still needed help with my car, so he informed me that he was going back to his shop to get all the items he needs to get the job done. I waited till 4:30pm, my lady called him and he said he still has to get the parts. I am very disappointed and mad because I wasted my whole day waiting on someone who said they were going to come at the original time and I was yanked around the whole day. If I was able to put 1/2 a star I really would. I am disappointed with the false service and unprofessionalism of the company.

I have been calling these people for several months to get a digital lock changed over to a mechanical. They keep telling me that can do it and someone will call me in a couple of days to set up an appointment. After a couple of weeks of no call backs I would call them back and say no one called, and they again said someone would call. After 3 times I waited until after the summer and just called them again and the exact same thing happened. Said someone would call today and when I told them no one called by 4 pm they said they will call me when and if they are in the area of my home! I said what the heck good is that . . . . I work for a living . . dont you make appointments? I was then told they/Byars would get a hold of 'their team' and stay by the phone as someone would be calling me in a couple of minutes to set up an appointment. NO ONE EVER CALLS YOU BACK. A very unreliable, unprofessional, and poor customer service company. They should be ashamed of themselves, and frankly are lucky there is very little competition in the area.
