I stopped into the Clifton Park location about a year ago (Sorry guys it took so long for a review!), never dealing with a locksmith before. I was nervous, as I had no clue what I was talking about. I walked in, and was greeted by the owner. He is very easy to talk to, knows his craft very well, and had me at ease. Again, I had no idea what it was I actually needed, but he seemed to know right away. Also dealing with his son is a great experience as well. Ive never felt so comfortable and proud to deal with a business like Edward C Mangione. Thank you for everything, you guys have been a great help !

Car key was bent and the guy behind the counter copied it successfully, quickly, and was very friendly and personable.When we got home the new key worked perfectly and we did not have to wait 3 days or pay stupid dealership prices.A great place and a great crew.

Absolutely delighted. The battery in my car died; the key fob would not open it; the mechanical key that I had did not fit (used car, long story). I called Edward Mangione's and got a quote for getting the car open (WAY less expensive than replacing a window, which was the only other way into the car).Long story short - within 30 minutes of making the call to Mangione's, I was siting in my car. The gentleman that came out to provide the service was utterly professional, knew exactly what to do, and did not damage my car in any way - no scratches on the door, the lock worked fine after he opened it, and he explained what he was doing each step of the way.The price was exactly what I was quoted on the phone. The entire experience was smooth and easy the from start to finish.It was a pleasure to watch an experienced professional work, and it erased my frustration and stress at the whole situation.

Ed and Nick at Mangione Locksmiths are without a doubt the best dang locksmiths I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with.When the lower half of my car key broke off in the ignition.. (keep in mind, for a late 90's Volvo) they stayed with me in the parking lot well past their closing time just to finally extract the key after a 2 hour battle with the stubborn ignition cylinder. After going to the Volvo dealer on Rt. 155 in Colonie, and paying 56.00 for a key from California to be cut and shipped to NY only to find that it is NOT the right cut. These guys really went the extra mile to help me out, and now, my baby has 3 new keys that cut through that lock like a hot knife through butter.100 out of 100.Tell them the god sent you.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars! These guys are great! I lost the only key to my car & the dealership I bought it at couldnt even produce a key, after a couple different tries. On a Saturday afternoon, they were the only ones open & got a key made for me right away. Their shop closes at 2 but since I had a 45 min drive to them, they even stayed opened and waited for me to get there! Great customer service ! Highly recommended !!!

Our Baldwin deadbolt lock to our front door broke and we were sent 2 new cylinders and keys from the company. I brought the cylinder that matched our color (gold) and the 2 keys that matched our keys to Mangione's in Clifton Park. A half hour later and at the great price of $20 I was on my way home, but, when my husband started to install the new cylinder he realized he had sent me with the wrong one. So, I returned the next day with the correct cylinder ( a black one) and Ed keyed it for me at no charge! There are still very good people in this world and he is one of them. Great customer service and very fair prices. I would recommend Mangione's to anyone needing a locksmith's service.

Ed and Nick are the best, they really saved me and got me out of a bad jam. I lost the keys to my car and for the life of me could not find them, I was desperate as the car was parked in a meter area and I didn't want it to get booted and towed. I called them on a Saturday Morning, it was pouring down with rain, and they came all the way down to Downtown Albany from Clifton Park to make a new key for my car and program a new fob. They arrived quickly, worked swiftly and professionally, and were a pleasure to do business with. Very friendly, honest guys who's family has been in the business for several generations. Their rates are reasonable and they even gave me a discount! Highly recommend them to anyone who's in trouble with a lock or a key!

my car is old, and my key has become very worn down- thus leading me to be unable to open my trunk with my key. (no inside lever either!) I went to Edward C Mangione Locksmiths today and they greeted me with a smile, and promptly began trying whatever they could before making a new key- probably to help me save some cash. i ended up needing a new key which was made within moments, then pop goes my trunk! open! and i am thankful.
