The worst! Never showed! I'm literally at a loss for words. I called this 'company' to come help me at a time when I really needed. I had lost my car keys at the beach (and don't have a spare set). So I called them and they said someone would be over to help me within an hour. I was so relived! I waited the hour and called back and was told, it would be another 15 minutes. I said okay fine- I then waited another 30 minutes before calling back. When I did, I was told another 45 minutes. I was so annoyed but I was at their despair- at this point it was approaching 7pm. Beach closes at 8pm - I can't call another company (no time). So I sucked it in and waited another 45 mins. I again called back and was told it be ANOTHER hour before someone can make it to me. I felt like they were just playing a cruel game with me. I've never had such a horrible experience. With so many locksmiths around, can't believe of all the numbers and places I called- I selected them! Worst decision ever. Had to leave my car over night and take a cab home. Would highly suggest you call someone else!! Anyone else.

I lost my car's switchblade key fob (the fob + a foldout ignition key). The Volkswagen dealer wanted $300 to replace it. Key Star replaced it for 175 + tax.The gentleman who helped us, from Mexico City, was helpful, extremely knowledgeable, and very friendly. He knew exactly what he was doing and worked efficiently and quickly. When he was finished, he made sure everything functioned before sending us off. He was a pleasure to work with.I have a tendency of only rating restaurants, but Key Star was such a wonderful experience, and saved us so much money, that I felt moved to write this review.Great service, great prices, knowledgeable and friendly workers. I'm really glad we found this place.

I needed a locksmith as I locked myself out of my car. I contacted locksmith on their messaging app. I asked 'how much for the service call?', they responded $29. I had expected more. When the tech arrives he informs me it will be $220 in addition to the $29 'service call' just to show up. I accepted, because I had already waited 20 minutes instead of calling another company. Service was fine, took all of 5 minutes and another 5 for the paperwork. The dishonest response on the cost of the call would have me encourage others to avoid this service provider when a mobile locksmith is required.

We were locked out our Apartment and I called this company and they sent a technician. He said, he has to drill the lock and this is the only way and I have to pay $200 for a new lock plus $180 for the service. The guy seemed totally unprofessional to me, so I had to pay $65 and refused the service. I called another company in Queens, he came and opened our apartment door in 2 minutes without damaging anything. I don't recommend this company!!!

These men are true professionals. Always available 24 hours a day and very knowledgable. They have fair prices and do home visits and business calls. Very trustworthy! They helped me on several occassions with my Masterlock hitch pin when the key wouldnt open it. Highly reccomend them!!

I called key star Locksmith they sent me a very rude technician who opened our apt door for $100 & broke the mechanism instead the lock & told me he needs $450 to fix the door with a new lock. As I couldnt afford that, I gave him $100 for opening the door & he promised me he could fix the door for $250 but he needed to pick up something in his car in order to do that. He left but I never saw him again.. he had been very dishonest. I called the night shift receptionist who was very rude also. It was the worse experience ever!!! I had to call another company who did a great job

Excellent customer service. I went there for a copy of my car keys. They get the job done quickly! I get my new and original key and remote control cut it and programed in less than half hour for a very decent price.

Wonderful experience at Key Star Locksmith went last minute to get a key fob for my Jeep Compass and Guillermo took care of programming my key and explaining the entire process along with showing me how to use my key fob even if my battery dies! The prices are also the best you will find on the island. Ill definitely be recommending your establishment to my family and friends!

I called Key Star to repair or replace a malfunctioning lock on the front door of my apartment. Upon seeing how old it looked he recommended I replace it. Dimitri made the appointment with me over the phone. Although he finished late on the appointment before me, he called to let me know. Once he arrived he gave me a break on the price since one door had two locks. No charge for extra keys. Extremely nice and polite. Payment by cash. check or credit card (my method). Paper receipt plus digital copy. Highly recommended!

He did a great job ensuring the lock was installed precisely and explained what he was doing and why it was necessary. I call this place to have a replacement key for my car, they came fast and did it in less than 20 minutesAnd the price was good compare to others companies that I call, the have told me a service fee like 19, or 25 dollars plus the key made which they did not know how much total it will be, I do no not like surprises, so I call Key Star Locksmith and they gave a price, I talked to a real locksmith, not a dispatcher, I recommend you the Best locksmithKEY STAR LOCKSMITH

If I could give them more stars, I would. While other locksmiths that claimed to be 24/7 didnt pick up their phone at 1am last night, Key Star picked up on the second ring and live-texted with me on their drive to our house. Not only did they get us in the house within a couple minutes, but the guys were super kind and even fixed another lock we were having trouble with while they were here. Couldnt have been a better experience!
