I'm not used to automatic keyless entry for vehicles. I forgot my car keys on the car seat, closed the door, and the doors got locked on their own.I called J. Stein Locksmith, they were very friendly over the phone. Their response was fast as I was not home and was out, they fixed everything in a few minutes and I had my keys again. They are absolutely experienced and their price is worth the job. I recommend their service 100%.

They showed up within 30 minutes, changed our locks quickly, even fixed another lock that we didn't know was broken (for free), and the final bill was extremely reasonable. DO NOT WASTE your time calling them. They will waste yours. I made a appointment 4 days prior for a Monday between 1pm-3pm. I called at 12pm the day of to confirm they are coming. They said yes. I waited until 3pm. No one showed up. I called their office. They said sorry someone will be there in 30mins. After 20 more mins of waiting someone calls me. He said he can only make it in 2-3 hours. I said forget it and found someone better. Totally NOT professional. Save your time call another locksmith who cares and is respectful about making a appointment.

I went there today to cut a very difficult, uncommon key. Service was quick and professional. Since parking in the area is always a pain in the neck they even told me to use their driveway in the future. I was expecting to go back for extra polishing but the key worked perfectly. Good job!!

Ohmygoodness. I don't know when I last experienced someone exhibiting the rare quality of patience coupled with knowledge. This is what I found in Al today. Frustrated, I walked in hoping for at least a brief explanation but what I got was a thorough explanation of the workings of a lock and knob and how to install both. Three visits to the store and two phone calls later, the DIY job on my 40-year old door was done. Thank you Al. You brightened what started out as a gloomy week. You are my locksmith from now on.
