i'd bent my key in my door knob, locking myself out of my home. went to 2 different locksmiths for key copies, BOTH of whom provided me with duplicates that did not work in my keyhole. finally, i was recommended by a friend to check out 'one of those weird key dispensing machines' that he had seen around his city. $10 was spent & i breathed a huge sigh of relief when the key i had purchased from KeyMe effortlessly unlocked my door.the dispenser was fun & easy! insert your original key & choose a design or function of the duplicate key. there were some great designs, and while i really wanted the pink key, i went for the bottle-opener key. since i chose not to save the shape of my key to the machine, i will have to revisit to place an order for the pink key, the blue key, and even the subway line key! it's cute. please give us more options for designs!the time it took to cut a duplicate was less than 3 minutes, i think, i didn't really time it. the machine asked if i wanted to save my key and also prompted me for my email. it was easy and efficient, and clearly great quality. i can't wait to return to one, seriously. i'm interested in making a rainbow of my keys lol and checking out the option to duplicate access cards.until i return, i hope i don't forget this service exists hahaha. thank you!

It was late, no hardware or home improvement store would be open at 10 pm on a Sunday and I needed to cut a set of keys for my daughter. I remembered seeing a Key Me in a local mall. It was in the lobby in front of a familiar store, so I went there. It was a little more expensive than I would have paid at one of the larger home improvement stores, but I am a happy and satisfied customer. The quickness and convenience was it. Easy. I needed a new mailbox key, and it had to come in the mail. Took 60 seconds to make the key, and it arrived in the mail 4 days later. Most importantly, it worked!

A small hiccup with getting the key copied when the machine ran out of the particular style of key I wanted. But overall, a very pleasant, convenient experience. This will be my go-to way to have keys copied in the future.

The most convenient way to get duplicate keys... Price is very reasonable as well. Got the same key done by a local locksmith and he charged me $12 while KeyMe only charged me $4 for it.
