Wonderful trio of shops; hardware, gifts, and crafts. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I've found some really beautiful things in the gift store, from China to tervis tumblers and it's a regular Christmas present gold mine.

My name is Teresa Bond from Lewiston NC.....I have gone there for the past three Christmas' and they have the most unique gifts in their boutique. The staff was great and they offered to wrap my gifts. They will walk around and help you find items...in most stores nowadays you can't find anyone to assist you. I wish the place was larger. Its wonderful, though.

Steve is professionally nice. However, he has the keen ability of having at least one butt hole working for him. It used to be a black grumpy old man who died, bless his heart. He got replaced with this old white grumpy guy who, apparently has gotten Steves trust, therefore in charge. He mistreats his coworkers. Dont bother saying thank you, he wont reply. Also, dont bother mentioning anything to Steve, he stares at you and wont say or do anything about it. I basically try to minimize my business there, instead I patronize Kellogg and Sentry Hardware Located in Windsor.

Rudest people, I've had the pleasure of meeting. My husband & I went in there today, October 22nd, to buy some things & they laughed in our face. Obviously, they don't want our business. And do believe me, we won't be going back. Just because you think you have money & you're so called bigwig in Edenton, doesn't give u the right to talk to people the way that they were talking to us. I do not recommend anyone going into Byrum True Value to buy anything. I know I won't be shopping there again. I'll take my business to Kellogg.

Love this place, reminds me of the hardware stores I used to visit, as a kid with my dad. Steve and the gang are great, and they usually have a quick answer for me.
