My 06 Dodge Charger would not crank for three days. The dash would illuminate, all of the systems worked, but the the car would not turn over. The car's anti-theft system had shut down the fuel, ignition and starter systems, due to what I thought was an issue with my one and only key. I spent three days stressed out and watching YouTube videos trying to resolve the issue. I finally gave up and called Keith. He arrived at my house within an hour and a half. He tested my key, which indicated the chip was working fine. He could have left at that point, but he didn't. He tried to program a new key and the vehicle rejected it. He disconnected the battery and waited a while before trying again with a different device. That did not work, but Keith still didn't give up. He connected the battery posts together for an hour. He reconnected the posts and was successfully able to program a new key. HOWEVER, the car STILL would not crank! At this point, I'm ready to give up, but he encouraged me not to. He got a fuse tester from his vehicle and began testing all of the fuses. Low and behold, it was the ignition fuse!!!! I thought I'd changed that particular fuse the day before, but apparently not. The steps Keith took to help me get my vehicle functioning again was FAR beyond the call of duty for a locksmith! He spent nearly three hours searching for a fix to my problem. I CANNOT THANK HIM ENOUGH, and I would not hesitate to call him again. I've got my car back and an extra key for what it was going to cost me to tow the car to the dealership. I went to the grocery store when I got back home the power was out in my neighborhood so the garage door wouldn't open and I didn't have a house key.
