Quoted one price and charged another. Originally they said it would cost $225 if they had to replace my ignition cylinder, and less if they had to repair it. Repaired it instead of replacing it and still charged me $225. Asked the tech why, and he said Sir I charged you a reasonable price for what I did. Other than that they were very accommodating and accepted payment over the phone.

Great customer service and great prices. I visited this store for a key fob. They didn't have my key fob so they ordered it and called me to let me know that it was in stock. When I arrived they had my key fob with my name on it. The customer service on the phone and in the store was really great. They made me feel welcomed. I even told them that instead of going to another store, I would wait for them to get my particular key fob because they were so customer service oriented. Everyone there was really nice and the prices were very affordable for any budget. I shopped around at other locksmiths in Greensboro and Guildford Locksmith was definitely the best option. I will definitely go back for all of my locksmith needs.

After 4 pm on a Friday, my husband's key broke in the ignition at the gas station. He was on his way to work and could not be late. He called me, I brought the spare key, then took the broken pieces to Guilford Locksmith. They were incredibly knowledgeable about what I needed when I laid the pieces on the counter. They went right to work and sent me home with a new key in less than 15 minutes! Everyone I interacted with was friendly, polite, and over all a pleasure to deal with. Their prices were very reasonable.

Yesterday my wife and I were returning from dinner and tried to use the garage door opener. The door didnt budge and we had left the house without keys. I called Guilford Locksmith and the soonest they could get a locksmith to our hone was two hours. Zeppelin immediately said that he would give me the number of another locksmith that most likely could get to us sooner. This was a very thoughtful thing for him to do. I called a competing locksmith and he came within 30 minutes. This would not have been possible without Guilfords help. Very impressive that they place customers needs as more important than their sales. I will definitely use them again.

This business was good on responsiveness. However, in less than six (6) months the key came apart. I paid $185.00 to get the remote key. Less than 6 months. I need to buy a new $45.00 replacement because the shell start coming a loose. I was snapping it back together until a piece from out. Their products are only guaranteed for thirty days. Good people, lousy product.

I had a safe that belonged to my father whom had passed away. It was locked and I wanted to open it-BUT I also wanted to be able to use it in the future. This safe was a very old unit and they did EVERYTHING in their power to obtain a key for me to get this safe open. I mean, I would have given up and just let them bust the safe open and forget about maintaining it's integrity. BUT THEY DID NOT! They called all across the country to get this key and opened the safe for my family. They helped with securing the items in the safe for me. The element of care that they took when handling the safe was tremendous. Best locksmithing company in the county-hands down!

I have a vw beetle 2002 and i wad having a hard time finding someone yo cut keys a program them . But i has emaild them and askex Richard answed me.and said je could. The mext day i went and very quickly was waited on amd nefore i knew it i was done and had three working keys it was great servise the price was hogh but worth it to be done with it im glad i found them cause the other places didnt have the tiils or did they seem to care to help me.If youre having a hard time finding someone that cuts a laser cut and programs volkswagon or Toyota cars they can get you fast and have yr worries gone

DANGEROUS COMPANY! BEWARE IF DRIVING. ALMOST LOST MY LIFE TODAY!... While driving to work this morning,(Summerfield), I noticed a white van up ahead driving on the wrong side of the road..MY SiDE!!! I thought this person would get it together and notice he was coming straight towards me and get in the right lane..He keeps coming at full speed. I immediately turn off and run into the side ditch to keep from possibly Being Killed!! To my surprise, I notice the vehicle say 'Guilford Locksmithing' (white van w blue letters). Some older white man, that was definitely intoxicated or high..After I ran into the side ditch, I noticed that this crazy man continued to drive on the wrong side. Completely out of it. After calling 911, I call the company. He took my information and said I would be getting a call back..Well, I NEVER received a call..I could have lost my life this morning..What a freaking joke..The man driving should be in jail.. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY.. DANGEROUS EMPLOYEE'S!

DONT BE FOOLED..Called week prior. Told the gentleman on the phone that I had a transponder key for my used truck that needed cut and programmed. Drove to shop the following week only to be told they dont kit your customer provided transponder key. Came to this business based off a recommendation from an auto dealer.

My son locked his keys in his trunk and when AAA unlocked his door for him the security function of the car would not allow him to open the trunk from inside the car. My son called after midnight and explained the situation. Instead of charging my son to make key these guys tried a trick that worked. Most other people would see this as an opportunity to charge him an arm and leg but not Guilford Locksmith.

Great service. The technician was competent and easy to work with, and Ralph, who helped me through all of the logistics of my problem, was fantastic to work with. Definitely a company I would recommend if you need them.Pricing also never felt like they were ripping you off either which is always nice.

I was locked out of my house at 8:30 pm with a 3 year old. I called Guilford Locksmith and was told it would be $60 cash or $70 with a card and he was on a call and would call me back in about 45 minuets to an hour which I was fine with. (My mistake considering I walked out without my keys, I could deal with that time frame). But as soon as he got done he would call l, and he would come unlock the door. Something to me to call around and see if any others were available. Glad I did, NO ONE EVER called me back! Very disappointing for a company that has been around as long has they have. Never again.

We locked ourselves out of our house and this gentleman came and tried his best to open the door without having to replace the lock but he ended up having to replace it because it was installed weird in the first place. Even though he ended up working on our door for 30 minutes, he didn't charge us more than what he quoted on the phone. And he was also a very polite man. I would call him again if I ever needed a locksmith.

Hefty dude named Thomas that works there is an arrogant prick who did not want to wait for me to pick a safe up that was serviced there instead He thought it was more important that he Park his van and repeatedly mouth that he works there so I need to move. As I'm checking out he goes out of his way to distract the young lady working the front and would like to discuss what he posts about on Facebook instead of letting me get on my way. Glad it was such a rush to park his van. He Needs to learn some customer service. I own a shop down the street and rather take my business somewhere else from now on.

Excellent service! Broke my only car key off in my car lock, was able to get the broken part out. Contacted multiple locksmiths in the area and all were wanting to charge me a fortune to come out and make me a new key. This is the only one who was honest enough to tell me I could just bring it to them and have it made for hardly nothing. Had 2 keys cut within five minutes and they both worked with no problem. This will definitely be my go to locksmith if I need one in the future!

These guys are great! I believe I called everyone in the Triad looking for help with my 2002 Westfalia door locks. Apparently there aren't many folks willing to mess with them - including the dealer. Guilford Locksmith was up for the challenge and did a great job. It definitely wasn't an easy fix, but they stuck it out and got it sorted when no one else would even attempt. I highly recommend Kim, Terry and the entire crew at Guilford Locksmithing!

I have to say that when I initially had to get a key cut for my push start vehicle I thought I was going to charged an arm and a leg. I called around and the prices were extremely high. I called Guilford Locksmithing and the difference between their price and the other company's was huge. Not only was the price extremely reasonable but it took the young lady no time at all to do the work. Would definitely recommend them.
