Well, Mr Scott has been here already for three hours.. I don't even have a working key yet but he has been SUPER professional. SUPER patient. So even if the Chevy computer and insurance paperwork people keep him from making a key (which we had NO COPIES OF...) I would recommend this company anytime

Scott was great to work with, responding quickly to voicemails and text messages. He added us to his busy schedule and was addressing the lock within several hours! Our beach house deadbolt messed up and he was able to get our renters into the storage room, made extra keys from the truck and even gave our renters extra batteries for the TV remotes!

We have a disabled friend that locked himself out of his home tonight and was in need of some emergency help. We called 10+ locksmiths who all either didn't answer or couldn't help. We eventually called Scott from Island Lock and Key and he came right out to help our friend and did it free of charge because he was compassionate toward the situation. We were fully expecting to pay but this act of generosity touched our friend and our family so much. I'd love to send some extra business to Island Lock and Key. Businesses like them are hard to find.

When I got to work I was the only one there and had to host a fundraiser. Pressure was already on. I go to turn my phone off and the key will not come out or let me turn my car off! I had to set up at work and left my car running over 4 hours. I was so stressed No one would answer or come out because it was a Saturday, or they said that since it is a Volkswagen I was out of luck. So I call Island and he comes within 15 minutes and fixes it for a very reasonable price. I was so greatful. God Bless him and his business.

I have a security system that was 'professionally' installed by their company. Today I came home to a door that would not open. The deadbolt is a keyless keypad system that has no other option to open other than the keypad. After multiple calls to the security company and them claiming disresposibility... I was able to get ahold of Scott with Island Lock & Key. Scott arrived earlier than he orignonaly said he would. Then after circumventing the locking system, Scott found that the locking system had been installed incorrectly i.e. The frame plate was off center, hinges on the door were not set properly and the deadbolt hole was not deep enough. It was NOT Scotts problem nor his responsibility to fix but Scott spend another hour correcting all of the issues from the improper install. Scott also took the time out to educate my family on how a deadbolt locking system should work properly along with helping us to understand the importance the 'lack of security' there is when a deadbolt is not used as intended. Scott stayed calm, patient and went way above and beyond what he was called out for. I will definitely recomment Scott and Island Lock & Key for any lock or key issues.
