This business and fellas who work there are great! Had 2 new fo bs activated 3 keys made and was out the door in less then30 minutes.very good service and and great work.wont be going anywhere else. Kyle was very professional and even helped jump my car ( hadn't been started in a few days, lost a key) he explained everything as he was doing it, very helpful. I needed a spare remote and key for my car. The dealership offered to 'give me a dealership discount' of around $170 and it would take a couple of weeks . I went to Baker today and in less than 40 minutes, I had both the key an remote for about $110. They rock!!!!

Bakers is always great. I have a 99 Grand Am that I rebuilt the engine in and it sat for a few years while I got it done and back together. I totaled my other car so it was time to get the Grand Am back on the road. All our keys were lost except one. Dealer wanted $70 a key. I found out I have Pass lock 2 so the keys have no chip in them, it's in the lock cylinder itself, so there is nothing to program. And even if there way I have a GM Tech II so I can program them. I got blanks from another dealer for $13 a piece and Bakers copied them for $10. We are so blessed to have a place like Bakers in Springfield.

My Mom locked herself out of the house on New Years Day. I called and left a message. Not sure if Bakers was open I also called another company.When Baker called back I told them I already had someone. He asked if I went through an 800 number and they dispatched another company. I had. He gave me warning of their practice so I cancelled with that company, as well as with the guy they were sending. Lo and behold that guy still showed up. We thought it was Bakers until the Baker van pulled up. I asked they other guy why he was there. I told him we cancelled. He was trying to RIP us off, just like Bakers warned!!.Bakers opened the door in two seconds. The other guy was doing everything Bakers warned us about. I will always use Bakers and recommend them. They are professional and honest. Do not use the companies with dispatchers!!

Was told that a key, not laser cut without programming for a car would be 10 dollars. When I got there they told me it was $90 and that they wouldnt cut a key without them programming it which I can do myself per lots of online information . Will have to find another place as this place isnt good for their word.

After going to every hardware and key place I could think of I couldn't get a key for my shed duplicated. No one had a blank. I found Bakers on Google and took it over and they had the blank. I have been looking for a locksmith to help create a key for my car. Both of my flipout car key/keyfob combos had fallen apart. I was stuck using a nub of a key and a pair of pliers to start my car. Not one locksmith in Columbus would touch this job. Kia wanted $250 per key to replace them. I brought my key (key nub) to Bakers, they had me in and out in no time. Two new keys for $20. I will admit I did get standard keys, not replacement fobs. But that is exactly what I wanted. Worth the drive, and I will use them for future jobs.

Go nowhere else for your locksmithing services in the Springfield Dayton area. I've had many terrible experiences with locksmiths, however this was anything but. Bakers is professional , courteous, expedient, and very good at what they do. We lost the last of our RFID transponder keys in the river. Bakers came in a hundred dollars under anyone else and keyed us in within 15 min of arrival. You guys rock!
