Thank You for Watching MY Back!I needed to make SURE I express my gratitude for the help you gave.I'm in North Carolina, far away from someone I love dearly, but can't get to in the current crisis through which we live. She came in, VERY apprehensively, to get help with a task she was unfamiliar with. Tim did, I imagine, what he always does... without thought to what it means. I just want to say Thank You Tim. People are living on the edge of definite uncertainty and perceived insanity, and the subtle 'normalcies' you guys provide are a thread for some, and a lifeline for others. This place has been here for 110 years in the same family, and it shows. There are literally thousands upon thousands of items and parts here, many of which you can't find in bigger chain hardware stores. The staff know their stuff, and most of the time they can help you with whatever hardware needs you have. Also, the quality of the merchandise is above that of a larger store, so you know you're buying good equipment.

Don't wander around a box store for hours. Staff always available to help. Old time hardware store with more products in stock that you would think possible. HIGHLY recommend!

I love Deck Hardware. The staff know their stuff and are always happy to make suggestions and give advice. And despite the size of the store (which is like a Tardis, bigger inside than it seems from outside) Im pretty sure they have it all. Worth a trip and 100% go to rather than a big chain.

Who knew this little gem was right around the corner - I will never go to Home Depot (or god forbid, Lowes) again. They seem to have everything and are actually knowledgeable about the product they are selling, which is exactly what you need compared to the tude you would probably receive at one of the big box stores.

I've been going to Deck's since I was a little girl. It is the coolest old time hardware stores around! Best service with people that know what they are talking about versus the Mega Store 'guessers'. If we want true customer service and our small businesses to stick around, we need to show them we're there for them as much as they've been there for us!

Deck's! what a cool building, with all of the old wooden cabinets and drawers along the walls from the old days. I have found most of my go-to hardware and lawn items here without needing to battle the big box parking lot, 30+ aisle, checkout routine. - loppers, screws/misc hardware, paint, stain, hatchet, work gloves, rubbermaid container, and probably quite a few things more.

There are much more spacious Lowes and Home Depot stores 15 minutes away but Decks is more locally accessible for Ambler residents, is big enough for most DIY needs and has a helpful, friendly long-time staff. If only they kept slightly longer hours in the evenings...
