For years we tolerated 22 year old locks/door knobs on the front and side doors in our home. It was very difficult inserting and turning the keys in the doors, to the point where we would enter the home through our garage, since it was less hassle. Also the locks did not align properly with the strike plate making it difficult to lock and unlock the doors. We finally decided to correct the problem and found A-1 Safe and Lock after conducting a Google search. I called, and Joe responded quickly. He replaced the door knobs, bolt locks, and strike plates. The quality of the hardware was excellent (commercial grade), and his workmanship was impeccable, which makes us feel much safer. We were very please with Joe's response and workmanship. The only thing we regret is waiting so long to correct the problem. Thank you, Joe.

Joe is an honest, fair-priced and very knowledgeable locksmith. He has been my locksmith for well over ten years. Having owned rental properties in the past, A1 Safe and Lock (Joe) did quite a few jobs for me. I recently hired him to install a digital entry lock for me. Response time for returning a phone call is quick and his service response time is as well. He is very thorough, and calm and patient and very descriptive when explaining something to you. He is also very tidy in his work and in his truck! His prices are very reasonable. And he is trustworthy -- which is a biggie for me. And he is a local person... Spoke to Joe said if I wanted in my safe it would be 150 just to get into the safe. He said 250 and he would replace the lock that I had. The lock I had ended up being wrong so he couldn't change it. He still took the 250 from me and said he can't right me a receipt cause its not on the books.
