I called Murray Ave Locksmith this morning at work. The woman who answered my call said Id receive a call shortly. Within five minutes I received a callback and they were able to fit me in within an hour. When the gentleman got to my house, he was extremely professional, prompt, safety conscious and fixed my 100+ year old doorknob/lock within 15 minutes with no damage to my door!Highly recommend!!!!!

I am happy with the service I received from Murray Ave Locksmith. I called them about fixing a dead bolt that would no longer lock an they were at the house within a few hours. The gentleman was courteous and fixed the issues quickly.

We called them since we accidentally locked the privacy lock of a room. A locksmith came within about an hour - we did appreciate their fast response. But they charged $171 (out of which $29 was service fee) for opening the privacy lock, which only took a pin and a minute. The locksmith even proposed to drill at the beginning, which was a bit surprising and would be even more expensive. We indeed didnt know that a privacy lock can be opened with just a pin, but we guess the locksmith must know.Update after seeing the respond from the owner:- We were told that two locks needed to be drilled and we agreed to the price. But, (1) the deadbolt lock was in fact not locked. If any service were provided to that lock, it was the locksmith's misjudgment. (2) the privacy lock was not drilled either. Looking back, we actually don't understand why a privacy lock needed to be drilled if it can be opened that easily. So, we were told the price for drilling but not the actual service. I'm not sure if that meant we 'agreed to the price before they performed the job.'- It was indeed a Sunday afternoon on 12/29.- It was tiring to argue since the owner either was not aware of the facts or was willing to distort the facts. We appreciated the offering of further discussions from the owner. But we'd rather leave the facts here to inform future customers.

Friendly service. They quickly got me out of a bind on a Saturday and gave me back peace of mind. I had lost my car key and they responded to my phone call quickly and were over in about a half hour. I had a key in hand a few minutes later. I was able to pay by card. Life pro tip for anyone out there: always have a spare key or two.

We contacted Murray Ave. Locksmith to fix our broken lock. Erik came the next day. It was not easy because the lock was very old. He dissassembled it and machined it with a lot of patience on our front porche until he got it right. Great job, really. Also the invoice was for the material and work, not a per-visit fee. In the shop they were also very responsive and fast when I went for key copies. Great job!

When he realized that we miscommunication, he went and got the best lock I could have wanted, set it up, waited to make sure it was setup THEN he said 'wait. That doesn't look exactly straight.' I stepped outside to adjust some decorations on my front porch and closed the door behind me to keep the dog from getting out. She jumped up and locked the deadbolt leaving my locked out with no way in. I called Murray Ave Locksmith and was back in my house within 30 minutes. They were very professional and very quick! My car key snapped off IN the ignition (then I locked the doors and shut them, AND I had no spare key, go figure) at the Giant Eagle up the street so I walked over to this locksmith for help as I had absolutely no idea what to do this situation. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and called someone out to unlock the car promptly. After getting the doors unlocked they went to work trying to get the stuck part of the key out. I appreciate the time and effort put in, and recommend them 100%!
