Very slow in response and high price. wanted to charge $200-300 just to open a safe that takes 15 minutes. very,very, overprice and very Disappointment!!!!!!!

Great place to have keys made for older doors and odd sized lock keys etc. But the hours suck. Closed on the weekend and only available when everyone else is at work. Cant take off work just to have keys made.

Showed up within about 15-20 minutes after I called. I live in West Reading so this was very convenient. Was told over the phone it would cost $78, and after it was all said and done cost $78. No extra fees or anything, so I appreciated the transparency. Dennis did a great job and was friendly, too.

I have an old fire proof box. Needed a spare key. I knew Lowes or Home Depot would not have a blank for something so old. I needed an old school locksmith shop. A friend recommended Berks Security. Walking in the door I thought I was at the right place. Hundreds of blanks hung on the wall. Had two copies made, $11 plus tax. Neither key will fit more than 1/4 of the way into the lock, obviously the wrong blank, too thick. Very sad.

I have called this place twice to come out an unlock my door and an hour later still have not heard from the on call tech. This is just poor business I understand being busy but to never call someone an inform them of anything after to urgent calls. I would never recommend this company. To be locked out of your house in the rain an not have someone call you back is ridiculous!!

If it's after 6pm and you foolishly locked yourself out of the house, I sugggest prolonging your agony by giving this company a call. The dispatch will answer promptly, but tell you the same thing every half hour -- (paraphrasing) 'The person on call has been paged. If he doesn't call you in a half hour, give us a call and we'll try paging him again.' So, the pattern of calling every half hour with zero responsiveness from the on-call employee continued for at least 5 half-hours. Did anyone actually show up? No. The dispatcher finally said (paraphrasing) 'Well, if he's not responding, I guess he's not taking any more calls for the night.'Brilliant.And I'm kicking myself because I tried using this service-- a 24 hour service -- about a year ago. And yep, they pulled the same BS they pulled tonight. Maybe their daytime service is a different story, but the 24-hour on-call service is...something worth a bundle of expletives.

I contacted their hotline for emergency services and was told someone would call me. That was 7:00 (2.5) hours ago :(. Don't have to worry about me trying to contact you ever again!

Called at 200 pm this afternoon requesting a locksmith meet us at an elderly gentleman's house who had locked himself out. They took my call and ask for the information and promised a return call within 30 minutes. I called back a 2nd time. Same thing, locksmith will call you back within 30 minutes. Called a 3rd time and said I'd you can't come out, please tell me so I can try and find someone else. Again, locksmith will call you within 30 minutes. It has now been 8 hours. Not one word. No one returned call. Not even the cloudy of a text saying I'm too busy and can't help. Find someone else.Do not waste your time with this place. No compassion for an elderly man out in the cold and 0 courtesy to even return a call.
