Don't bother trying to buy anything the girl at the counter has no interest in selling. I told her I had very expensive equipment I needed to lock up and wanted the best cable and padlock. She showed me a cable and when I asked if it was the best they made she said, 'I don't know but it's the best we have'. I asked if anyone else could answer my question and she said no. I then tried to find what padlocks were available and she showed me one and said it was $170. I guess it's the only padlock they sell but it was like pulling teeth with her. Incredibly rude don't waste your time.

Very nice people and customer service is key, no pun intended. Got replacement keys for my truck, one was faulty in the manufacturing and they took care of me. I also brought in a 100+ year old skeleton key to my wifes great grandmothers furniture and Nelson did a beautiful job making a duplicate from hand. I highly recommend. Shop local. You will be glad you did.

Mike's Lock Shop is a wonderful operation. I had a nightmare with a remote key for my Lexus. I called and spoke to Nelson. He was a pleasure to deal with. The store is clean and extremely well run. All of the staff are knowledgeable, polite and attentive. they took care of my problem much faster than I had anticipated and were extremely reasonable with the pricing. I would highly recommend Mike's for any key or lock related issues.

Mikes lock shop was the third locksmith I called to try to get the lock on my Anderson slider to work properly. I also needed a new lock set for another door.Ben and Adam came out this morning and were actually early, after calling to ask if that would be okay. They were friendly, professional, efficient and, most importantly, were able to correct a problem that no other locksmiths have been able to resolve for me. After recently purchasing used Toyota truck I went to Mike's to have additional keys made. While I was there I mentioned that the only key I had only worked the ignition, rear hatch and glove box but not the doors. The guy that helped me was very friendly and suggested that the locks might just be stuck. He followed me out to my car and used a lubricant and got both doors working for me! I told him I would get extra keys made to show my appreciation. He said, 'Don't worry about it. Get only what you need'. If I need additional keys made, or anything security-wise, I will definitely be going back to Mike's.

Quick, professional, honest shop. I needed two key fobs for my car either fixed or replaced as the buttons were not working. I called Mikes Lock Shop after a recommendation and striking out at a couple of other lock places. Nelson from the shop was able to give me a price over the phone that was $100 cheaper than the dealership (and this was worst case scenario if the keys actually needed to be replaced and programmed but they said they would try to repair the keys first which would save me even more and of course the dealership never offered this option). I made an appointment and the morning of I was greeted and offered a place to sit and wait where there were snacks and a fridge with drinks. The repair took only 15-20 minutes and ended up costing less than $50. I was impressed by the quality of work and the honesty of the staff who could have easily made a lot more money off of me but instead made the simple repairs and saved me a couple hundred bucks in the process. Would definitely recommend!

You can, without a doubt, rely on Mike's Lock Shop for your security needs. We have used them for decades. I purchased a new home safe. When I expressed a need for the safe to be installed before leaving for a trip, Mike's made a special trip for the installation. The timing was also valuable because our daughter was moving into a new home with my former smaller safe. Ben and Alex did an excellent job, vacuumed after the installation, were extremely courteous, and extremely thorough and clear in instructions for using the safe. I am extremely happy with the both the product and service. You can rely on Mike's for your security needs!

I came looking for help to repair a nearly 60 year old door mechanism and Mike really made my day. Not only did he have extensive knowledge of the system I was working with but he also had hard to find parts to fix the problem. If you need a locksmith Mike is your guy.

I had a disagreement over the amount of change I received (I typically carry 20s and felt that I should have received another $10). Since I didn't have any proof, I contacted the owner Ben who reimbursed me even though he was not at the store when the sale took place. Subsequently, the cashier Christina has become much more friendly and pleasant to deal with. There prices are fair and sometimes beat online store prices like Amazon. Since my wife wrote a poor review based upon my feelings that I was originally cheated out of $10 in change, the store is much more likable including the staff. Often, Mike's Lock Shop is the only locksmith in the area to carry certain keys. Several times I have been told by Home Depot that they don't carry a certain key so I will go to Mike's and they always have the key I need made. They also have a good selection of custom keys as well as lock related products. I believe that Ben runs the store well and treats the customers by the motto, the customer is always right.

I have used them many times, they are great. The keys have always worked the first time. Pricing is very fair for keys- staff is knowledgeable on keys, (sometimes it seems like it is a bother to cut a key - but when I look at what they are charging- It probably is a bother).

The girl behind the counter needs a lesson in customer service and hygiene. She looks like she just crawled out of bed. She acts like you are an inconvenience for getting keys made and all around puts off a bad vibe. I go to pay for keys and she rudely says there is 10 dollar limit for cards, so I hand her cash and she rudely says she cannot break my bill . This girl should be working far away from people, her social skills were horrible. Not a good person to represent your business. Will take my business to vans lock shop instead, they value their customers

I went in on a Saturday to ask them about a lock set that was not working. when I got in there the only person working took ten minutes to come out from the office to wait on his customers. Three people walked out while I was there. When this very rude person finally waited on me he could not answer a simple question about my lock set. He told me that I was lucky that he was even open when there hours of operation a clearly stated they are open from 10:00 to 2:00. Very unprofessional!!

Other places wanted 25-100 dollars to copy my key i got 2 copies here for 10 bucks. Not only are the fair priced but the counter girl was very nice and fast i was in and out in less then 10 minutes

I went to Houdini in Abington and they were going to charge me around $100 to cut my blank auto key I bought online but if my blank key broke his machine they would charge me $300 for breaking the machine. My brother recommended this place his wife and mother in law has been a customer for years. Accesslocktech charged me $45 plus tax to cut my blank auto key I purchased on amazon. They are SUPER NICE, the cute little old man even came outside and made sure the key worked.
