I would highly recommend. Excellent service and a very knowledgeable staff. Weston was very hospitable and so quick and precious with cutting spare keys. Larry had all the tools we needed to get the job done and James was very well educated on the craft. Jeremy was extremely helpful in making sure everything was done correct and all of my needs were met. These folks sure know what they are doing and I will be back!

I've used East Cooper Lock and Safe on several occasions since 2015 and have always been impressed with their responsiveness, expertise and pricing. They've always come through for me, answer all my questions and are friendly. Sometimes they even go above and beyond! James even gave me a piece of trim for my front door when he was repairing my lock and noticed that the one I had was damaged. Where else do you find that kind of friendly and helpful service?

Great place for car keys with the chip. They were less than half the price of the dealer and less than the chain stores as well. The new meet is all programmed and works great. The even set up the lock buttons.

Extremely disappointed - never had a lock go bad in this extremely short of a time! Can only assume used very poor quality. Then the shop manager spoke with on phone uninterested in coming out or even sending anyone else out to assist. Definitely do NOT stand behind their work, nor want repeat customers!

Absolutely great service! I had several lock boxes I did not have the combos for & 1 jammed lock box. Within minutes, they had them opened & new combinations set. They explained the entire process of the internal mechanism etc. I also had a few keys cut. Total cost, just north of $4.00. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable. As a Realtor, a locksmith cab be key!!!

These guys changed locations and are way down 17 almost to Awendaw. They are super friendly and get the job done at an affordable price. They can program scary keys, key fobs, and even security blades for newer cars. No one else I talked to in the area could do this except the dealer and these guys were about half price. It was disorganized, but they are in the middle of a move. Hopefully that's all. One they open and full steam they should be able to be more professional.

I locked my keys inside of my car at the Sonic in Mount Pleasant while it was pouring down rain. I called East Cooper Lock and Safe and they were extremely friendly and helpful on the phone. A locksmith was there within 20 minutes, in the pouring rain, an unlocked my car within 5 minutes. It only cost me $60.00. The locksmith was friendly and reassuring the whole time. East Cooper Lock and Safe did right by me and for me during this whole situation and I would hire them again for any of their services! Highly recommend.

I had called another locksmith in town and set an appointment to get a second key made for my truck. The other locksmith did not show up or call that day or the day after. I called East Cooper Lock & Safe and talked with Jason he told me he only needed about 15 mins with my truck and drop on by whenever I was ready. So I took my truck to them about 20 mins before they closed that day and they cut my key programmed it to my truck and had me out in 10 minutes. All while handling phone calls and other customers. These guys really have their act together and I would use them again if needed. Also they were about $30 dollars cheaper!!!

After having used East Cooper Lock & Safe several times, as well as 'inheriting' their service from the prevoius property owner I can say that their service manager, Jason, was horrible. I called to complain regarding a lock that was installed into a door 3 months ago. He was so rude and hung up the phone on me. I then proceeded to ask the name of the owner, which he refused to give me (i have tried to look it up but to no avail). If there is anyone out there that knows him/her please feel free to pass this along. There is no excuse for rude behavior and awful customer service! I have several rental units 20+ and I will take my business elsewhere for as long as Jason is at ECL&S!!!

Use to use this company for all of our business and home locksmith needs. James came out to look at our doors to re-key and add a few electronic locks so we didn't have to carry a key all the time. After waiting 2 weeks, I started calling the office. After 6 calls that weren't returned, I've realized they just don't want my business. Oh well.
