I originally called for a tow but because I needed my car towed an hour away and my battery was the only issue, they offered a different solution that not only saved me money but took much less time. They were so nice & even reached out to me afterwards to tell me they were glad it was a simple fix and that they were able to help. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area!!! Very nice people!! They turned my bad day into a much better one in a matter of minutes!

As a woman I know that I have to be very careful where I take my vehicles. I have been searching for a full service mechanic that I could trust for some time. Jody's was recommended to me by another woman and I am so thankful I found them! Jody, Katie and the rest of the staff are friendly, respectful, professional and honest. They do not try to pressure you into repairs you do not need and they are fully honest about the repairs you do need. My Toyota Sienna was repaired quickly, competently, and at a reasonable price. I am so thankful that I found Jody's and they are now our rescue's official mechanic!

He pulled me out of some mud and charged me a rate that I didn't deserve because of the work I put them through, but I was very pleased with the amount because I should have been charged more. Jody and his father, Hoyt, are lifesavers! They were well prepared, competent, careful, and creative. We had a difficult towing situation and they handled it perfectly. They charged a very fair amount for their service, which shows that they are honest and professional. This all happened on a Sunday and they did not hesitate to drop everything and come help us, two people theyd never met. I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of automotive service or towing.

Our van broke down in the middle of mountainous road on our way home from vacation. Thanks to a Good Samaritan, we got a ride to a rental car place but we ended up leaving the van there since it was late and we needed to go home that night. As an out-of-towner, I wasn't familiar with towing and repair shops there, so I called a local dealer first but I was told that they didn't have any opening for two weeks. After doing some research online, I found Jody's with good reviews. I must confess that I was hesitant at first because it was a bit out of way from populated area, but I am so glad that I called them. The receptionist was super friendly and the van was picked up within a few hours despite the fact that it was 30 miles away. They replaced brakes in very reasonable time at a very reasonable price. All the workers were very nice and professional. I truly appreciate their service and courtesy. If you need a reliable towing/repair service in this area, Jody's is a great place to call.

I was very satisfied with my overall experience from the initial call with Katie, to the towing of my car from my home to the shop by Gary, and the overall timely repair by Jody! From start to finish, I was provided PHENOMENAL service and treated with WONDERFUL customer service! I reside in Central, SC. My 2009 Hyundai Accent would not start for me and Jody found that the problem was a popped TIMING BELT and he also discovered a secondary belt that was worn as well. These guys are by far the nicest, most honest car service and towing company in Clemson! My tire blew on the side of the road, and they were at my location within 10 minutes, even let me rotate the tire to the front so that they could tow my car without putting it on the dolly (which would have cost me more money). After towing it, they even suggested the cheapest place to get a new tire! Love these guys!

So a few weeks ago we met Jody and his dad because we needed a rescue tow - and low and behold we needed some repair service on that same truck he rescued earlier in the month. Thankfully I had his card, and so I called. He said bring it right in so we did. They took our info and called a few hours later and said it was fixed and I could come pick it up. When I got the bill - he only charged me 1/4 of an hour for labor. I have NEVER had that happen before as I have always been charged a minimum of 1 hour no matter where I went or what was wrong. So - I can't say enough about his whole organization! The mechanic I met (Thomas), the Shop Manager (Katie), and of course Jody - who is probably one of the nicest and most trustworthy people I have ever met! He's got an amazing shop, and incredible staff, and if you look at his spacious shop space - you will see it is big, filled with cars and trucks from other customers, and so clean and organized you won't believe it. I have told all my SC friends and won't hesitate to go see Jody and his folks again!

Our truck broke down during the snow event. We are members of AAA and they refused to help us out since it was not an emergency call. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!Not trustworthy. Jody said one thing on the phone and Gary said a different in person. Very threatening, not willing to help. Jacked up price from what they said over the phone because they thought we only had one option for towing it. Then when we told them we were gonna go with a different company they left and called the cops. Bad communication and customer service. All out rude and now willing to help. Death Valley Towing is much better.

My old Pilot leaks water seriously. I just got the water pump and time belt replaced there. It seems they also checked and tuned other parts and now it drives great. Everyone there is very nice and the technician is very skillful and they are efficient and professional in repair. Highly recommended.

Very professional, patient and courteous. Needed a tow because my car battery was shot. They were very considerate and instead helped me jump the battery with their portable equipment (I had tried jumping the car twice previous night without success). We were able to start the car and save me the towing expense because of that! Definitely will give them my business everytime my car needs to be rescued around Clemson! :)Note: They are very responsive over phone and were immediately available even on a Sunday! So, do give them a call on their number they've posted on google.

I have nothing but great things to say about Jody's Automotive! I called them because I had a flat tire and didn't have a spare so I thought I needed it towed. Gary met me as fast as he could, looked at the hole n my tire, and told me he could plug it up if I wanted. This saved me a trip to the tire shop and probably a purchase of a new tire. I greatly appreciate Garys assistance today and will definitely use Jody's Automotive for anything else I need!

Had a dead 12V battery in a Toyota Hybrid. In case you don't know, that means the pushbutton unlocks don't work. The 'emergency' key that is supposed to unlock the door would only go halfway into the slot. Locked car, no way to charge- I needed to get into the engine compartment.I called Jody's. The gentleman that showed up not only got the doors open, but he put a starter pack on it that tested the battery and alternator condition. He gave me great advice on how to prevent this in the future.I will not lose their number, great experience.

Car broke down a few miles from home, they were very nice. Initially said their truck wouldn't be free for another 3 hours, but they were able to swing by my car and do a quick pickup first. The driver got right back in touch with me after the office called him. The price was reasonable, they were prompt and friendly, and they gave good advice for what the problem with the car might be. As a final note, if Gary seems a little obnoxious at first, it's only because he's watching out for everyone and trying to keep people safe. He's a good guy. 5 stars, definitely calling them if I need any towing in the future.

If I could give this company negative stars then I would. They told me that it would cost $75 to $85 to tow my car 11 miles. Then when they showed up, they started adding bogus fees in excess of $250! It seemed like they were trying to profit on my misfortune, so I decided to call another tow company. I ended up getting the car towed by someone else for $70 with no added hassle. I will never call Jody's Automotive and Towing again!
