I have a1984 vehicle needing an ignition key, I spoke to Ted this AM. He was polite, professional, and knew the older product line that other locksmiths, dealerships simply said duh to. One local locksmith said they could do it but the charge was $280 for one key! Yea...Right! Ill call Ted at Protech Key & Locksmith again the next time I need professional service. David

I had the ignition go out on my Honda . They came out and re keyed it and fixed the ignition and I even still only have to use one key. Awesome customer service and very reasonable prices. Definitely Using them for all future needs and will recommend them to any one and everyone.

All I can say is thank you so much! My business partner took off to Dallas this morning and accidentally took the keys to one of our customers cars with him. With the picture of the key Protech was able to cut a new one so we could pull the vehicle into our shop and not stay outside. I called 5 other locksmiths before and non answered or couldnt do it at all. Thanks again and I will always recommend this place.

Very unprofessional. I called to get a key made for my Merecedes because i lost the original. They said they could do it and that he would have one of his technicians come out and give me a call in the next hour no call back no nothing had me waiting thats okay got a better deal with a reliable company out of Houston! Next time call and let someone know you can't make it!

And after that it was good to go . If there's anything you think someone can't do protech key can do !! It started very well. Whomever the guy was that answer was polite and professional; quoted me 320. Then, after another call, the price went to 350. He insisted it was 350 but, fortunately, I had the speaker on and my employee heard 320. He became irritated with an 'I-rate' attitude. He said, and I quote, 'i dont have time because its busy'. Not a way to run a business: demanding to your customers, changing the price, etc. My opinion: dont do business with this company.

I called this company out to make a key to my Ford Ranger. The guy made a key that turned but could not program it so the truck would start. He still charged me $180 for a key that did not work. I had to call another locksmith and pay them to program a key, which they did with no problem. So Im not sure what this guy was doing wrong, but he obviously did not know what he was doing. Dont recommend calling this place at all.
